thanks gaelmcg-i think it helps having a date and total in mind thats really focused me.
Went to a carboot sale yest to check it out, luckily didnt buy much but the stuff they were selling is pretty much what we've got so i'll book us a spot nxt month (when the weather gets nicer-im a wuss and hate standing out in the cold)
I tried dying my hair on fri night as i didnt want to pay the £100 to tony & guy however i had a disaster and ended up with bright yellow roots, s OH had to hotfoot it to tescos and get a brown dye to cover it up so im now a brunette sob! actually its more reddish but im going to leave it for a while and see if i like it (my mum said it looks awful though so ill probabally be back at the haridressers in a few weeks)

Like the idea of a new bathroom and the quote sounds ok don't know much about B&Q so can't comment there, in need of a new bathroom myself, i think mine is the original that the council must of fitted about 30+ years ago and previous owners did'nt replace as they were an elderly couple (live in an ex council house), only word to describe it is rank does'nt matter how much i scrub it it always looks yucky, But we have deciced that we are going to have a much needed family holiday so will have to wait and save a bit longer.

after a wash most of the red came out and i have some 'blond' shampoo which has turned it strawberry blond so it doesn't look too bad now-i always see when people do their SOA that people leave comments saying try your local colege to get your hair done and i always think mm yes thats a good idea and never do it-maybe i will now!

Im going to get another quote for the bathroom from an independent person just to see if we can get it any cheaper.

Found £1 coin yest and i must get my expenxes back from the petty cash £25.99 keep forgetting, also i need to put in my travell epenses whcih ive forgotten for the past two months £45 approx. There if ive written it down it has to happen!

I'm aching to put more money in- i think i'll have to be tougher with the grocery budget as that was a good way of putting in a tenner each week at least but we've over spent a bit recently-i think we'll go vegie this week and see if OH notices so it was falfals w/ sald pitta cous cous etc, tonight it'll be jkt pots w/ left over cous cous & salad, weds i'll do macaroni cheese, thurs thi green curry w/ left over quorn bits and fri spanish omlet w/ beans. shh just dont tell OH he loves his meat!
That'll leave chicken thighs, stewing steak, sausages, 2 packs of mince, left in the freezer for nxt week.

I had £64.95 'spare' in the joint account from the mort etc going down so i've transfered that across so now the total is £3569.64 hurrrahhhhh.

Im on for a payout from Quidco for £20 at the end of the month.

Know what you mean about wanting more money, i have so far got £10 saved from free scratchcards and went to a body shop party on Tue so insetead of having £50 left in bank account that i was gonig to put into savings on Fri when i get paid i know have £5.50,
oh well at least i have some long needed new makeup and a couple of birthday prezzies.
I have just ordered a Sainsburys voucherfrom Toluna i might recieve that some time next year they are sooo slow

cheers miemie-you always feel complelled to buy when you go to those parties don't you? But at least you have £5.50 to add to the savings would you have added that before or thought well it's just £5.50 there's no point? Even the small bits add up.

Gonna be a real money saving day today-will go to the market to get fruit n veg (there wasn't any complaints from OH about Veggie week so might have to do that again) as mentioned before we have sooo much meat so dont need that.
Will put some of the pennies from our piggy bank in the bank so i can see the savings go up a little bit at least!
Need to take my shoes to a cobblers to be rehealed as i think being on my bike i must bash them on the ground then its off to boots to spend some of my points on conditioner & toothpaste.
Im also going to try and sell some of those clothes my mum gave me.
Gosh what a boring life i lead ha ha!

But id also like to give a big shout to Quidco as ive received £80.12 from them since feb whcih is great a lot more productive than surveys!
