Hi everyone
I guess i came to moan
I bought trousers from fleabay for £4 earlier this month...they didn't fit *feels like a fat piggy*. Then i bought some for £3 that i had the measurements for, they came and they where tat basically. How people sell tat and dont feel guilty i have no idea. So that's £7 i've spent, and i still have no trousers!. I'm thinking i should just go to the shop and open my purse and let the moths free
Does this £7 get deduced from my total even though i'm still no better off clothes wise?i'd think not, as really the trousers are never going to be worn, so.... whats the rules for this, if there is rules :A

Can you knock the grand total of £3 off my balance, I brought a new pr of shorts!
Lucklily underwear not included.......... had to renew that came out 12 prs knicker (packs of 3 buy one get one half price), very mse if I wanted coloured pattern they were £10 pack, plain boring white or black £6.00 for 3 pairs)....... The only place there going to get seen on washing line, so there do the trick!
3 new bras (all reduced to £5), very plzed xx
Packs of knickers are very cringeworthy, but better then single knickers that cost £5 a pair and fall apart as soon as they touch your bum
I buy mine in packs from Asda, and they are sized VERY wrong, according to them im a size 12  and im more of a 16 in reality. :T for money saving packs of knickers :A0 -
Hi,
A little update from me. Mum bought me a summer jacket today in a lovely blue colour for £28.50 as a pressie and for doing this challenge. It is gorgeous and completely different to what I would have bought before. And it was a pressie!
No need to change my total yipee :j :j :j :j :j :j
Tried a load of stuff on in the M+S sale only for them not to fit very well and made me feel like a fat piggy so handed it all back and didn't spend a penny in thereBefore I would have bought them first rather than trying them on and then shoved them in the wardrobe without a second thought with their tags on and there they would stay unworn.
This challenge has made me think much more carefully about what I buy - eg a £9 top reduced from £15 - is it worth it? will I wear it? Decided no to both and to a £9 pair of trousers for work I squeezed into reduced from £15. Decided to buy after I lose some weight and fit in them better and make a decision then if they are worth it and if I would wear it!

Lula Hula I too am 5ft 41/2 inches, it must be the optimim height for putting on weight!
I see a lot of us have this weight gain problem which doesn't help the clothes situation but makes me feel better.
The idea of buying something nice now is actually a good idea. It did this a few years ago when my weight shot up, I spent about £10 in a charity shop and bought enough clothes to stop me from going naked! I did lose the weight eventually and gave them back to the shop.0 -

Hello all,
so glad to hear that I dont have a weight problem, it's a height problem & I'm not alone
Happy new clothes to everyone :j If M&S have a sale & I have a £15 voucher then perhaps it would be rude not to pay them a visit & see if I can help clear some stock
Jen_31 - sorry to hear of your e bay disasters - I had a good run of getting really bargainous stuff then got a pair of trousers supposedly brand new which were blatantly worn & had the zip had disappeared & been replaced by some dodgy poppers  the seller was very dismissive so I vent my feelings on the feedback system  I'm not going to penalise you so either sell the stuff or take it to charity shop.
Sarah - waiting for the grand total with bated breath ..... :rotfl:
will adjust the allownaces tomorrow as so tired now
night night

Think very carefully about what you need; Will you wear it? Does it fit? Is it worth the money? Will it last for more than one season?
Good luck!
Take care my dear and hope it is a small amount splurge! I know it is hard to change our thinking like this when before we would have splurged no problem on things without a second thought. Remember to leave yourself enough money for the next 9 months of the year!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

One pack of amazon green later & it's about to finish it's cycle - so excited
Oh & I also bought a sewing machine today
dont ask - I went into the shop to buy new buttons & thread for jacket & came out witha £40 old style hand machineIt's luck I didnt have £100 on me or I'd be having the beautiful one with a treadle delivered  :rotfl:

Ladies, I've been really naughty. On a charity shopping trip to Birmingham I got persuaded into Primark for underwear... and came out with a summer dress and a skirt! Then I found a brilliant work dress in a charity shop for £4.50. So please knock £28.50 off my total Lula Hula (ouch!!!)
However, this week so far I have sold £43.93 worth of stuff on ebay - they don't finish til tomorrow so might even be more... so I don't feel too guilty.
Good job shoes don't count. I got some black Per Una padded shoes for work in charity shop for £8 too!
I'm useless at this!
I'm jealous of your sewing machine Lula Hula - mine is still in my mate's loft somewhere... I wish I had it here though!:j :j :j DEBT-FREE JULY 2015! :j :j :j0
