hi wolfbane & welcome,
you're not the first person to say that they dont spend that amount anyway which has shamed the rest of us even more
I have to say that my attitude to clothes has changed a lot since starting this thread, please feel free to hang around & keep us on the stragith & narrow if we seem to be straying
lula
xx
lol shame on you all!!;)
must say clothes have also have always been the bottom of my priority list, however i'm sure many who love their clothes would be shocked to the core by the amount i used to spend on the passions in my life:o .
we all have our guilty pleasures so good luck to everyone in completing their challenge:T0 -
Thanks Lula
I did my first good deed today for this challenge, and it seems karma rewarded me when I checked my receipt just now! Usually I keep things in bags until it's too late to return them... anyway I got my refund, and she has refunded me an extra £2.40 (she mustn't have noticed it on the old receipt).0 -
Hi all. Went to M&S on Saturday and used vouchers I has been given on undies. Per Una had a buy 2 get a third tfee so bought two bras with two pairs of matching knickers plus and extra pair of frillies. These also allowed me to use a 'Spend £35 and ger £5 off voucher' from the news paper.
The problem is I am putting on weight and less and less things are fitting me help!0 -
^I feel your pain, Miss-Spent! I have gone from a size 10 to a large size 14 in the last few months... it makes it so much more difficult to find bargain clothes to fit me. It also doesn't help that I am 6ft tall!0

You have my sympathy, have also gone up a size & 3/4 ( cant bring myself to say 2  ) since June last year. I'm still blaming the giving up smoking & absolutely refute any suggestions that hobnobs are guilty.
I am absolutely on a mission now though, I'm exercising every day, have now bought a new tyre for my bike ( just need to fix brake cable so dont do a forward roll over the handlebars when stopping  ) & am back to spending half anhour on yoga every day.
summer is coming & I am going to wear all the clothes that I bought last year but didnt quite fit into
Completely Lost - great news on your karmic dividend - see this thread is good for you* sighs with envy - only 5ft 4 & 1/2* ( yes the half does count
) the weight shows up a lot more quickly when there's less length to hide it in
I want to spend my M&S voucher ... but refuse to buy big knickers & bras when I have a perfectly good unworn selection just waiting for me to shrink back into them
I will be thin, I will, I will, I will0 -

I spent £52.50 in Marks and Spencer, it's hardly my fault they had a sale, I got 2 pairs of jeans (£12 each) a skirt I was totally in love with but did not get before due to price (£39.50 down to £19.50) and a pair of cords (£15 down to £9). Will update properly when I have tried them on as some may go back, am being ruthless and only keeping things I love. In my defence I do not own a pair of jeans or cords, and was planning to get some this year, and the skirt will be a work skirt and I will still have £37.50 left.
*runs away*
edited to add: I got them in my size as am sick of only wearing the same things which fit when I have a wardrobe full of lovely things which don't. So I will have some new things to wear now. And I am on a diet so I will fit the things I own. Eventually. But I wanted some new things which actually fitam sick of feeling fat.

Hello..Well i ma bit gutted for a change i didnt read this thread within the last couple of days , as i went into Marks and Spencers too when i saw the sale signs outside and spent over £35.00 so after reading your posts i could have saved £ 5.00 off ..oh well
Anyhow i bought a couple of lovely bras and knickers sets , !! what they had left in my size anyway} ..they didnt have many many left in my size , so am now thinking of having aa EXTRA large boob job done so i can i buy more next time ..:D
And also a pair of pjama bottoms for £5.00 whilst in there.
I got dd quite alot of tops too but i use dvouchers for these so have not added them to sig.
As i was in dire need for some jeans over the weekend i could not seem to find any i liked anywhere that fitted me correctly so i opted for a couple of pairs of leggings for daytime instead.. which were o na sale in Bank at £6.00 each , and they are of lovely soft quailty , and so comfy , i just need to find some tops to go with them now ,......I also grabbed another top whilst out on a sale for £6.00 which is a checkered one , but i have a feeling it will not ghet worn as its a bit girly for what i normally wear so i ve just updated my spend this week which was £23.00..Ebay Bag A Day Challenge 2012- :staradmin

That is true, Lula. I hate being this tall, but at the same time, if I was shorter I would probably be a size 20+My friend doesn't believe me when I tell her I take a size 14... she thinks I'm lying and am only a 10!
Hmm does anyone else feel really daft returning things they've bought? I have another two things to return, and the last day to return them is tomorrow... I already took one top back yesterday so they're bound to recognise me as the 'serial returner'... :rotfl::o
edit to add - can I add money onto my total if I return previous purchases?0 -
Can you knock the grand total of £3 off my balance, I brought a new pr of shorts!
Lucklily underwear not included.......... had to renew that came out 12 prs knicker (packs of 3 buy one get one half price), very mse if I wanted coloured pattern they were £10 pack, plain boring white or black £6.00 for 3 pairs).......
