Hi everyone
Jut wanted to declare a £12 spend for me at the shops yesterday. I got a pair of brown trousers made from a lightweight cotton - very nice and also a top that looked like a cardi with another top underneath. Trousers were £4 and top £8 so am well chuffed. They will do well for work.
Lula will leave you to do what you need to, have updated my own signature. Well done everyone. We're still on target for doing well.I got there - I'm debt free and intend to stay that way. If I haven't got the cash, it doesn't get bought. It's as simple as that.0 -

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to pop my head around the (virtual) door and say that I still haven't spent any more of my moneyNearly the end of March and I have only spent £16.50. Ok, that was only on one item, but I'm still quite impressed with myself!!
I think I am going to head to Tesco/Asda next weekend though and see if I can pick up a wee bargain or two. I would dearly love another new top or two for work, but last time I popped into River Island I nearly keeled over when I looked at the prices :rotfl: This challenge has gotten to me!
I do need to buy some work shoes, but thankfully they don't count :j
Well done to everyone else, we're all doing really well!0 -
I spent 19 pounds on tops in M and S on Saturday.
I need to start selling clothes on ebay to make up my 100 pound total again!!
I tihnk I only have forty quid left!!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

Hello guys, hope everyone's well & I'm very impressed with all the confessions / declarations ....
I just have a tiny issue with you Maz my lovely; now on the last page (post no 544) you declared some new jeans leaving your total at £67 ... your latest confession is to a new top at £4 & you're thinking that leaves your total at £66, did I miss something or should that be £ 63 left
I dont want to be all headteacherish
but I do feel responsible for your spending  so please let me know if I'm being dumb or if that was a little typo on your part or shock / horror you're testing my maths skills :rotfl:
Happy New bargainous clothes to Curly Top :T & Happy New Top to Buffy ( get selling quick my lovely)
I still havent shed any inches so still have my £100 & my £15 M&S voucher  . I'm no longer sure whether I'm angry because I'm still oversized or pleased because it really is stopping me from spending
Have a family party coming up in 3 weeks & cannot bear for those I havent seen for ages to notice that there's 'more' of me than the last time we met up, so really trying hard now...
Now contemplating the chocolate slimfast shakes ... I just hate cleaning the blender after
bye for now & well done everyone :A

I'm going to join in... hope you don't mind if I start now rather than when you all did :P Makes it that little bit easier for me!
I discovered a great website recently - bigwardrobe.com - it is FAB. I have swapped quite a few bits of my own and got new, lovely things. It's like free shopping! Definitely worth a look (though it has probably already been mentioned in the thread somewhere... I'm just too lazy to look).
Aside from that, I think I will be able to manage if I am able to sell my old clothes (of which I have plenty..!)0 -
Hello CompletleyLost & a big welcome to you
will add you to our list & thanks for that fab tip about swapping site, many have asked about that so :T :A
Speak again soon

hi, i'm a noob and have just noticed this thread and had to laugh because i prob don't spend over £100 in a year on clothes even if i included everything on your exclusion list. i always buy new but look after what i have and keep everything for years, except underwear which is my biggest clothing expenditure. i also simply don't have clothing that's been worn once or never. if i buy it, i gets worn to the death lol0

hi wolfbane & welcome,
you're not the first person to say that they dont spend that amount anyway which has shamed the rest of us even more
I have to say that my attitude to clothes has changed a lot since starting this thread, please feel free to hang around & keep us on the stragith & narrow if we seem to be straying
