^sometimes I think it's best to buy one decent quality key piece, that buy loads of cheapo things that won't last
I buy quite a lot of clothes on ebay... but mainly things I've tried on in the shop so I know what size I need. For example, I saw a gorgeous cardigan in Republic but it was £25 - I looked on ebay for a few weeks and ended up getting the exact same cardigan fo £4.40 delivered! It was brand new with tags as well, hehe.0 -
Hello my fabby friends,
Happy new stuff to Fairynuff & Dizzydebs :j
quite agree with everyone about getting one or two more expensive items that you're going to love love love & get loads of use out of.
My jacket has turned out brilliantly - the green is perfect in that it's not too bright so looks quite used & worn in & the buttons I bought go perfectly too. I'm so pleased as the jacket was about £45 when I bought it & although a casual denim style it's fully lined & kind of brushed cotton so very warm & fits perfectly. My mate popped round when I was sewing the buttons on & couldnt believe I'd dyed it but did remember it & that I never wore italso said that I was going to look like a leprechaun :rotfl: but I dont care
Just need to lose that stone now so gonna run over to the first page to update the totals ....

Well done for getting through your Boden Moment unscathed :A
Happy New Undies thenit's amazing how excited a new pair of socks can get me these days
Oh yes plenty of salt thank you & lovely man in hardware shop asked me if I had some too. That's what I like about independent retailers, they take the time to interact with their customers - we had an indepth conversation about skewers while I was in there too0 -
morning fellow clothes junkies!
I have confessions to make...
£10 black v neck sweater
£10 black pencil skirt
2x Tshirts £6
total £26
New balance £40...... eeeek! looking scarily like i am going to have to rein this in sometime soon!
I did also buy another skirt for £5 but it is too big, so it's going back...
I also got a nice Tshirt from my sister for free... so my wardrobe has had a real injection lately!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Hi Maz - easy up there girl

If I could get a wedding dress I love and dye it purple I would be very happy."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0
