I am still clothes free, not nude as such but no new ones:D Not at all inspired to buy any until I lose some weight. The way it's going it'll be 2020 and I'll be dressed in 2008 fashion;) Oh well they say fashion is cyclical:rotfl:Thailand 3010/15000 20150

Can I join this too please ?I have no idea how much I spend on clothes and I always pick up 'bargains' which I never wear.I too have loads of clothes which are too small and should diet to fit into them rather than buy new larger clothes."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0

I spent £52.50 in Marks and Spencer, it's hardly my fault they had a sale, I got 2 pairs of jeans (£12 each) a skirt I was totally in love with but did not get before due to price (£39.50 down to £19.50) and a pair of cords (£15 down to £9). Will update properly when I have tried them on as some may go back, am being ruthless and only keeping things I love. In my defence I do not own a pair of jeans or cords, and was planning to get some this year, and the skirt will be a work skirt and I will still have £37.50 left.

Sarah - waiting for the grand total with bated breath ..... :rotfl:
Well, the parcel arrived and either I am fatter than I thought or M&S have made some strange and insulting amendments to their sizing:mad:
Either way, the whole lot has been returned, none of the trousers fitted and the skirt wasn't fabulous, so I am still on £10.:j

Kidding;) but I have been searching for a purple wedding dress for ages for my November wedding.Did it dye okay?the stitching too?what fabric is it?
If I could get a wedding dress I love and dye it purple I would be very happy.
Its a monsoon frock and the stiching was fine, BUT it's silk and the synthetic lining did not dye so well -went kind of lavender-natural fibres dye much better, and that goes for thread too.
Good luck! Use lots of saltPlease do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

well done Puss14 - not to worry about wearing 2008 fashions in 2020 ... you may well not be alone
Sarah - am sorry that your M&S splurge wasnt fruitful but maybe it means that you will find stuff that is even more fabby when you've shrunk a bit

Hi all
I have finally succumbed and bought some clothes - spent £14 on 2 tops from Primark but another 2 are going back as I think I got too carried away and now realise that wouldn't leave much for the rest of the year! I know I only bought them as 'comfort' shopping 'cos most of my stuff doesn't fit as I have lost no weight in last 2 months!
Have been through my wardrobe and taken out rubbish and all stuff that doesn't fit, this is all going into the loft til it does fit or I miss it- I'm ashamed to say that my wardrobe is still full- where does it all come from? I am also going back to Slimming World this week as I know that works for me but I don't have the willpower to do it myself- hopefully the money it costs will save me some in the long run as I will fit into the clothes I already have.
Lula could you update my total to £86- thanks.GC/Aug2009 296 spent/300. GC/Sept2009 62/300. £100 Clothes Challenge 100/780 -

I've been good too! Don't know how I am managing it but I am.
Did get a brand new pair of shoes at the weekend though - and didn't pay a single penny for them.
I had a pair that I had bought 6 months ago and the strap broke last week. Took them back to the shop on the off chance and they exchanged them for a brand new pair, no questions asked! Result.0
