Haven't posted for a while, mostly as I have been avoiding clothes shops:D

*lula feels faint with shock at the above news*
Hurray sarah, well done you :T
Glad you're still about as it appears that we've been locked out of our 'local'
Strage things are occurring all over the boards & it's making me most uneasy.
I had to go to tatco to do some food shopping & inspite of the huge banner declaring 20 % off clothes & the man positioned by the door giving out leaflets saying the same thing... I refused his leaflet & didnt even go upstairs for fear of buying something cheap & nasty that I wont bother to take back because it was so cheap

I know, it's such a nuisance, felt strangely proud and luckily it was freepost:D Got loads of other stuff I should have sent back but is instead hiding at the back of the wardrobe and as it was on the cc I am still paying for some of it:mad:Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
You sound a bit like me, sarahb123! I do that a lot - I buy stuff, then intend to take it back for a refund but either forget or don't bother :S then I find it the item few months later and feel intensely guilty for not wearing it.
Anywayyy I think I've said before how guilty I feel when I read through this thread! There is absolutely no way I could manage £100 a year, maybe £300, but then that would make this a whole different challenge.0 -
Hello all , Well i have still only managed to spend very little on myself this year but im now extremely in good need of some new jeans this week ..and posssibly some tops as the weather is getting nicer , so my total will probably dramatically change within the next 5 days

Hi Lula,
I bought a Wallis day dress for £4.99 last night of ebayThanks to everyone for the tips about ebay buying as I would never have thought about doing this before! Hoping it fits me and if not it might motivate me to do a bit of exercise which I haven't been doing for the last year!
The bonus is I sold a dress on ebay last month for £10 and this now leaves me with a balance of £5.01 for something else without my total needing altering!!!!:j :j :j
Will be hunting for a top to go with a lovely skirt I have never worn which is balck with beaded flowers in many different colours and I have no idea what to go will go with itIt is a Butler and Wilson wrap around skirt (one of my ridiculous spends from last year that has never been worn
 ) Can anyone help with this. The flowers are pale blue, pink, coral and green with matching beading on a black background.
I am rubbish at matching things up after not being interested in this for the last 10yrs and just wearing anything. I want to match things better now and have a good capsule wardrobe of things that actually make outfits instead of things that don't go together and a load of going out frocks that I never wear as I don't go out that often any morefinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Hi
I'd go for plain black in style as well as colour, let the skirt make all the impact - it sounds lovely
