A whole one  that's just not fairI can forgive the blatant flouting of clothes challenge rules... but not so sure about excessive chocolate consumption when I'm on rations

100 day challenge fedup-whats that, or is it exactly what it says on the tin?
Hi NO-BRAIN,
The 100 day challenge is exactly that! You decide what you do not want to spend money on for 100 days.Mine was ordering from shopping TV/buying skincare/cosmetics and I started on 1 Dec 08. Everyone else started on 1 Jan 09 as the other one was still running and I discovered it towards the end.
It has worked a treat for me and yes it has been hard, very hard at times not to revert back to how I was. It has been great for me to run this challenge alongside as it is reinforcing how I need to think if I need the item or not!
Instead of spending god knows how much (I'm scared to work out how much ) in 80 days which I did before, I've spent well under £10 on basics I have run out of eg cotton wool pads and deoderant, looking for offers but not stockpiling endlessly as before!
Sorry, I know this is a bit off thread/topic but i just wanted to let you know and see if it would help
As I said this thread helps me reinforce strongly the changes from the 100 day challengeRight I'm off now, sorry for the ramble!

Hello everybody,
Hi Lula-Hula, please can I join your challenge? I'm very late I know but I can assure you that I haven't bought any items of clothing during 2009. I'm also doing the 100 day challenge and clothes are one of my banned substances so hopefully the two challenges will enforce each other.
I last had my shopping spree in September when I bought some work clothes for a job that I didn't then get, I've also moved house so money is a little bit lacking in the Kerfuffle Household at the moment. When I was getting ready to move house a lot of my clothes were all nicely packed in plastic bags and put into storage, I got them out of storage recently and they are still all nicely packed in plastic so I'm going to keep them that way and then 'shop' out of my stash.
Good luck to everybody and keep up the good work and inspiring messages.

I have been keeping up with this thread without posting, cos I still haven't spent ANYTHING on clothes :j :j :j . This week I went into M&S (my downfall for food and clothes:o . I sent £15ish on food (I went in for pies
but got some of the feed 4 for £4.00 offers for when I work late) saw some trousers I would normally have snapped up and two nice rugby tops. I told myself I have quite enough rugby tops (quite true) and came away without opening my purse:A . Having to post on here helped out the will power I'm sure LOL

Haven't been here for a while, DH has been dragging me past clothes shops to see if my resolution will break
Did buy a raincoat as DD went off with mine & I found one for £25. Hope this counts as a coat otherwise I am going to have a very interesting, if chilly, summer as I shall have to take up naturismas none of my summer clothes fit.
Had revenge on DH for dragging me into clothes shops: he paid for a bathing costume for valentine's day & a denim skirt towards my birthday present
Is there a 'rules of the challenge' post anywhere top save me asking questions all the time?I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0
