I don't think it will be a challenge as I doubt I spend £100 anyway but I will try. I hate shopping. My mum, 77, dragged me round today but I did buy anything.
So far in 2009 - One brand new with label, dark green winter coat, £4 from a charity shop (they even had three sizes to choose from)
So I have £96 left
Hello looby-loo,
you're very welcome to join us but sadly have to tell you that coats are not included  so you still have £100 left0 -

Noooooooo!
I re-read the first post and see that i can't include underware either - and there was me thinking I needed a new bra, the one I'm wearing is about 3 years old.
Can I include a swimming costume? I've just started going twice a week again and although I don't need one I could treat myself. The one I have has 2 little holes which I have repaired but I wouldn't want it to fall apart.
Hi,
you can include everything if you really want to, some people are... it's just that for some it's going to be really really hardnot to spend the money so rather than be really strict I/we thought it was better to ease up on the rules to get people motivated to think about how they spend rather than scare them rigid
I have lots of clothes that just dont fit properly since I put on weight after quitting smoking & as I refuse to buy anything in a larger size I wont be spending a penny until I lose the weight...that's my personal motivator rather than the actual financial side of things but as I said... you can include or exclude what you suits you best0 -
Hi Lula,
I used my vouchers of £19 to buy a pair of jeans for £19.50 in M+S and at the till the VAT reduction took them to £19.08 making it a spend of 8p for me to be removed from my total!:D
A good day all round! £19 of found vouchers lost for over a year and only 8p from me!!:jfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

[shhhhhhh :shhh: - if it isn't included you can spend on it at will, this is why there will be a sudden resurgence of underwear as outerwear and swimwear as day-to-day wear]£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

I would love to try as I am REALLY trying to cut down.....so I'm gonna say IN.....have we gotta start from Jan though as I think I have already gone over......lol0
