    What? you heard that???? :rotfl:

Surely she can take advantage of the swimwear rule wherever she lives, it is just that it may take more balls in some parts of the country than others :D In some parts I have seen the young laydeeeeez wearing less than swimwear on very cold nights  (if I did that then I would be immediately air lifted 'back to the sea' and there might be reports like this - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/4631396.stm)

anyone can use the swimwear rule - I have a fab cossie that holds the tummy in but then pushes everything upwards & out over the top of the padded bra bit  ( yes, I learned this hard way when wondering why all men were blatantly ogling me in local pool :o:o:o )

    Hello Boys!!!!!!!

exactly :o in future think I will 1) avoid swimming until further notice & 2) let my tummy control itself
  • I have lots of clothes that just dont fit properly since I put on weight after quitting smoking & as I refuse to buy anything in a larger size I wont be spending a penny until I lose the weight...that's my personal motivator rather than the actual financial side of things but as I said... you can include or exclude what you suits you best ;)

I am so with you on that, how long does one keep trying to lose weight before giving in though?!

    Not spent any so far...

I am going to try......I really do spend SO much it's stupid, although I have just worked out that it comes to about £8.30 a month (if I have done my calculations right!!!!!) but I really am going to try, this should hopefully help me to cut back and save money for more important things, even if I can't stick within the limit it is going to help me, great idea for a challenge!!! Nice one!

    Hi Lula
Confession time. I had a lovely day out on Saturday with my Mum and daughters and we all got some bargains.I bought a blouse for work and 2 summer tops in a local charity shop-it all came to £5 and I donated a full bag of clothes to them so I've actually got less now than I had before so surely that's a good thing!! We also found they do a great selection of birthday cards etc at £1. I hate spending money on cards which end up in the recycle bin in a few days-at least buying them here does some good.
    Cheers
    Janey
