  • Thanks guys for the nice thoughts. Yes sky it was terrifying. So scary to think your child could be left with such a major disability and there's nothing you can do to prevent it. KP I gave him your hug lol along with the other million. I think he is getting fed up with me hugging him now lol.

Sat and did my sums last night to see how I can manage to get back on track I need to pay my minimum payments and £8 per day so that I can achieve my goals. In addition to this any money I make from e-bay etc will go on the debts as well.I have a couple of expenses this month i.e M.O.T, mothers birthday and mothers day, and also my night away with my diploma chums for our graduation bash. Hotel is already paid for so just meal and booze to pay. Work will pay my fares etc. I have just paid my first £8 off of Argos as that 0% will run out in May and I want the bill cleared ASAP as that will be a whole debt less. Phsychological I know but 3 cards sounds better than 4. My 0% runs out on my Virgin card in April but I still owe over £4k on that so am going to find it difficult to get it moved from there. Will start looking later today. DS is much more like himself today. Eating like a horse and has had a nice long soak in the bath so looking better too. House is tidy. Dinner is in the oven and so far all is well ;) . Wonder how long that will last :rotfl: . Be back later xx

  • Good evening. Just paid my £8 off of Argos today and £3.46 I got from Amazon. I would quite like to get under £14k by Easter so will have a go at reaching that goal. Gave DD her lunch money for the whole week so that was £12.50. DS is not at school this week so no cost for him. Paid DD the £15 I owed her for cleaning and lent her £7.50 so she could buy concert tickets. Means I will only have £7.50 to pay this week for cleaning so not too bad.
My friend called me tonight and she is goingto see about booking our trip to Islay for the summer. We will stay at the youth hostel so should be a nice cheap holiday. Just another expense for this month though  . I can always put the ferries on my card and pay them next month. I wllsee how it goes. I have £250 in my savings account but no way will that cover holiday, ferry, MOT etc etc. Oh well I will just need to juggle furiously again and have many many no spend days  . Hope everyone is well and if anyone knows where can get a bargain, but basic, digital camera and printe for my mum then let me know ASAP thanks. xx

  • Good evening. Just paid £8 for today from Argos. Nice to see a debt going dow albeit slowly. It will be under £300 by the end of the week. Friend called and 3 nights at the youth hostel will be £177. Thats for 4 of us so not too bad and we will have our own room.
Never got any of the promotionjobs I went for but tbh wasn't expecting to. I just wanted to see if I scored more than I did last year and I did :j so I am well happy about that.
Got my project back and although I have passed most of it I still have a wee bit of work to do before it gets signed off. :(. I hoped it was done and dusted but c'est la vie.
I spent money on my lunch today as I just needed a baked potato lol. I would have understood better if it had been chocolate but a baked potato !! strange. !
Spent £11 in Asda tonight too and got chips. Hm actually been a bit rubbish today then. Didn't need to spend anything so am ashamed now :o . Will be better tomorrow I promise. Hope you are all well xx

  • Good evening. £8.49 paid to argos today. I hate when odd pennies are owed when I want to pay off a balance lol. Weird huh.
Busy day today and still doing some silly spending. Will need to stop it ASAP. DS is off school after his op and my mum keeps asking me to pick things up for her from the shop as she is stuck in watching him. I end up buying loads of stuff I normally wouldn't buy as Itry not to go near any shops other than supermarket at the weekend. The very reason being that I can't help buying rubbish lol.
Diet is out the window at the moment too so I will end up having to buy trousers to wear with my suit jacket for my graduation as the jacket fits me fine but the trousers are too tight just now. I really need to buy a blouse too. / Will get some things onto e-bay and see if I can raise some cash that way. Will go and do some listinh just now as I have some pics done and can get them on. Keep well x

  • Evening. Today's £8 paid off of Argos. I love doing it this way. Great to pay something every day. :j to internet banking. No way would I ever take the time to go to the bank or anything to do this. Money so far is fine. I have enough. Holiday paid so that's one down. My mum has decided she wants nice perfume for her birthday so will have to have a look and see if any bargains on the go.

Made home made burgers tonight and the kids loved them:D . So did I:D . Much better than the rubbish frozen ones you get. Dinner fro 3 for less than £4 :T . I know it's easy to do meals cheap but this was all fresh home cooked stuff.
DS is fgetting much better. My mum is watching him until he goes back to school on Monday but he is driving her nuts now lol. He feels better and has way too much energy for her when he is well.
Hope everyone is doing well x

  • good evening. :j it's the weekend:j . My new job is exhausting. I am loving it so much though. Just dying for the day when I know what I am doing so that I can be more organised. I feel a bit lost just now.
Went to Morriosns tonight and spent about £65. Was £20 this morning for petrol etc. I have paid £56 from Argos so that I stop all these £8 payments. Thats the next week paid for so amquite pleased with that.
I got tickets today to see Bruce Springsteen :D . I love him and am well chuffed. £61.50 though :o BUT..... My friends and I save £15 every month for social times and this will pay for the ticket and the night out :j . Will give DD her cleaning money and have some cash for the pics tomorrow - confessions of a shopaholic lol and I will have about £20 left. Will keep that to help pay MOT etc. Will need to get it booked. Going to Veg out now and have a small aperitif ;) . Take care all x

  • hi . Well yesterday was eventful in my house  . Nice quiet day. Did some housework. caught up on surveys and banking etc. I've got 48 points in new vista 2 to go and £50 :D . Has taken me about 18 months though. Went to pics and DD's friend was to come and stay when we got back from pics. At 9.30 I told dd to tell her mate to get down here pronto as her mum thought she was here and she was up the road with her BF and his friend. Whwn she phoned her friend was in a right old state as her BF's friend couldn't bite his finger as he was so out his face  . He was out cold on the floor and these 2 kids were sooooooooo upset lol. I had to go to the rescue and take him home with a bucket to hand  . Teenagers huh!! Now if it had been mine  . Was rather funny tbh as he was smashed and it was from his dad's whisky lol no cheapo booze for him. My DD is disgusted at him :rotfl:.
DD announced last night that she needs £20 deposit for school trip to Alton Towers in June. Every time I reckon I have some cash left another expense comes along. Jeezo man! Never mind I will get it paid. Will book MOT this week and get that out of the road as well. Skint skint skint again lol. I wonder what I would do if I had some money lol ( buy new bras lol) xx

  • Good evening. Busy busy day today. I have sent about 1hrs reading material home by e-mail to try and give myself a chance to catch up. . Will claim the flexi though as if I could stay in the office then Iwould get the time for being there.
Sent my second- and hopefully final - draft of my project to my tutor so fingers crossed it will go through this time. Only 2 weeks until graduation so no pressure lol.
Paid childcare tonight and was £15 less than I thought so that more or less covered me for DD's trip. DS went back to school today and not pleased as he is to stay in at play time. He still has stitches so would be silly to let him out. No P.E either for a couple of weeks.
I have withdrawn £10 from bingo site today so will pay that off of ARGOS when it comes in. Going to take car to garage at the weekend to get tyres and exhaust checked pre MOT. Fingers crossed I don't need both done as I would have to use the credit card if thats the case and I will be  .
I have £20 in my purse and will try really hard to make sure that lasts me until Friday. Lots of things on in work on Friday for red nose day so that will be quite expensive  . Will be fun though and I will try and limit myself to a fiver maximum. Hope everyone is well xx

  • hi folks. Sold a couple of books on amazon. They were from my course so have sold quite easily. Was laughing in work yesterday as 2 lasses are doing the last course I did and were showing me one of their books and I said ' I sold that on amazon yesterday' :rotfl: . Only a few pounds but every little helps and might bring me nearer to my target payment this month. Have paid out £99.95 this month so far but £405 is my target. I pay around £150 from my wage at end of month so that leaves me about £155 to find. Hmm doubtful. I have a few pounds coming in from Amazon and hopefully some from e-bay but it wont be that much and I doubt there will be any left at the end of any week now as i hav so many expenses the rest of the month. Oh well I can only do my best.
    Hope everyone is well xx

  • Hi there. Got my tenner from bingo site so thats been paid off of Argos. DS is puking and the other tonight poor soul. My head is splitting and tum is decidedly dodgy so no doubt so will I before the night is out  . Why oh why do I always catch these things when they do. Quite often only one of the kids will take it at a time but I ALWAYS get it  . Poor me lol.
Spent too much today on uneccesary stuff. Had a meeting in Glasgow and there is a smashing sandwich pace just down from the office so I bought a roll, juice and sweets so spent nearly a fiver  . Been buying my lunches all week and I really can't afford to. Need to go shopping tomorrow as low on food now. DD asked if she could make icing as she wanted something sweet to eat and no snack type things left in the house. I said no of course. Was going to take them to mcd's for dinner as I have £6 in LV's but with DS being so ill that's a no go. I was going to domy weekly shop after that but that has had the kaibosh put on it too. The best laid plans and all that  .
My Norton runs out in 2 days and tbh since I have had that I have absolutely no bother and I am scared not to renew BUT no bleeding money. If I hadn't bought my lunches for the last 2 weeks I'd have had the money :p . Duh !

    Hope everyone is well x
