Hi. Expensiv day for the grocery budget today. £12.50 to DD for weeks lunches. £2 to ds for today's lunch and a fiver to dd for skiing. Never spent anything else though. Am totally back into no frivolous spends. Oh except for the bookcase :rotfl: . Got no spare cash this month for anything else anyway.
Had to go to a meeting in ds's school tonight as he is going to be getting sex education  he is in p7:eek: . I said to him we better have a wee chat about it and he locked hinself in the loo and said no way :rotfl: . Bloody hilarious to be honest. I know he will come to me with dozens of questions over the next few weeks so I better get prepared. hohum the joys !5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

ho hum!! Got a call from the school as ds is sick.He is waiting on further surgery on his ear but it has a really yuk runny infection just now and he is getting really unwell with it  . DD was sick yesterday ( not the same thing) and him today. My boss asked if I would manage to go back to work
. I was gobsmacked. his temp is over 100. We are supposed to have a family friendly policy  . I let my staff have paid time when they have to pick up sick kids but looks like I will be using leave. Never mind. He is sound asleep at the mo and I have an appointment at the docs tonight for him. Will hopefully get something to help him then. Wee shame for him
.

:j 6lbs of at weigh in. Had to celebrate with 2 kit kats :rotfl: . Why do I do these things?
DS got more antibiotics. Have to phone consultant tomorrow and let him know what is happening and see if I can get his surgery done qucker. I could cry for him he is so damn miserable. He's only 11. Trying to be big and brave but at times today he has been on my knee crying. He's nearly the same height as me jeezo lol. He slept for hours this afternoon and he is away to bed now and no noise so think he is asleep. Fingers crossed cos I am knackered and really need a night's sleep tonight. Hard being a mum sometimes huh? When the exhaustion sets in it's hell. House is tidy though lol and done 3 loads of washing today so not all bad. I'll take him to his grans in the morning as I am loathe to send him to school until his antibiotics kick in. Spent £4.25 ( get student rate as I am doing diploma) and £2.50 on cereal bars at slimming world. Going to spend 10 mins or so on here and then bed. Fingers crossed no weans waking me tonight

:j :j 6lbs is a great result :j :j . LOL a the kit kats thats the kind of thing I would do.
Hope antibiotics kick in soon, Its really hard seeing kids unwell and you are right about exhaustion.:j0 -
Antibiotics kicked in by this morning and he insisted on going to school even though I wanted to keep him home at least another day. He was going to a science fair so was keen to go. Seems to have been fine. Got a date for him to go in for surgery in February so at least I know when it will be now. Went to Morrison's tonight and spent £77  . Only £56.21 on shopping mind you as I bought a bottle of whisky as a pressie and thick tights for ds's trip. Only have £70 of budget left. Hmm doubtful lol. Will try and cook double everything this week so that the week dd is away skiing ds and I can eat from freezer and I can have a very minimum spend next week. Will see what happens. Low fat sausage casserole cooking at the minute in the slow cooker for tomorrow and 2 other nights for me ( kids dont like it) so thats a start. Hope you are all good x5 Year plan.
