  • good afternoon. Just back from seeing the pups my friends dog has had. We saw them at a day old and they are now 6 weeks. OMG what a difference. They are stunning. If I was ever going to buy a dog then it definately be one of those. They are Labradoodle and they cost a fortune. There is a wee black curly one and she is just fabulous. I am not really a doggy person though to be honest. It takes me all my time to be nice to my kids lol.

Haven't spent any money and have no intentions of doing so today. Have done my surveys etc and checked my bank account. Everything okay so far :D .

I have a chicken casserole in the slow cooker for dinner so am going to chill for the rest of the day and have a wee browse round the forums. Hope everyone is well xx

  • Phoned the bank and changed the dates myloans come out of my account. One comes out on 28th at the mo and I get paid at the end of the month. I always use some of the money and have to play cach up all month to make sure the money is in the account so have changed it to 14th as they couldn't , wouldn't change it until the 1st ( strange rule type thing) changd the other one that comes out on the 17th to the 3rd. Hopefully this will stop all the silly spending I do because I think I have all month to catch up with the money. Will give it a go anyway as it makes more sense for them to be paid earlier in the month.

  • Good afternoon. I have checked accounts etc this orning and was so excited to see my funds in my savings account:j . I just sat looking at it and smiling. Mad or what. But hey I never thought I'd see the day where I could even contemplate saving money as I never ever had enough to pay for what I needed to pay each month so i am well chuffed I can now do that and also save a wee bit. I reallyhope I manage to keep it there for the hols and Christmas and dont have any disasters that need to eat into it.

I got 70p from scratchcard sites today. No surveys as yet. Got to buy a couple of things foodwise today but should be less thana tenner for that. I am going out later and we are having something to eat and a few drinks so that miht be costly but am looking forward to seeing my friends and chilling for a wee while. Just of now to have a bath and get ready as I have visitors coming this afternoon. Hope everyone is doing wel and managing to avod the temptation of the sales x

  • Good afternoon. Had a lovely night last night and only spent £12.50 :j . Wasn't drinking so only had food to pay as my friends paid for the soft drinks I had as I was driving them all home :D . Had left the kids with a tenner for a chippy tea and they spent £7.80 so not too bad. Going to use my shopping budget to pay for these as it is food and I always include takeaways etc in that budget. Heading into ASDA just now but dont have much to get so should be okay.got 40p from scratchcards today.
I will catch up later x

  • I added a couple hundred to my credit card over xmas so annoying ahh!!

Good luck, you seem to love shopping as much as I do :p x
  • lol nah not that bothered about shopping tbh I just love treating my kids and that's my HUGE downfall.

Been to Morrisons. Spent £22.19 so thats not bad. Didn't quite stick to my list but there were some really good things that were half price etc. My kids love the Heinz tins i.e ravioli, spag bol etc as they can heat them up quickly in the micro. I never buy them as they are too expensive for what you got but they were half price so I bought 6 different ones today. Also bought turkey burgers and chicken fingers that were reduced. So all in all not too bad. £43.21 spent from my £250 so far this month.
Spent £20 on petrol. Because the banks have been closed I haven't had last weeks maintenance yet and this weeks will be late too so I will just try and send it into my other account as soon as it appears to pay back the money for the shopping and petrol and to get the euros for dd. Juggling again lol. Goodjob I am getting good at it. xx

  • Back to work today. At least I have a job cos I know loads of folks are worried or have lost theirs and I am pretty safe at the mo (phew). Have done my scratchcards and got 30p. Have done 3 more dooyoo reviews. I have 41 points in my 'its your view' account. Only 9 to get for £50 :j . Will probably take me all year as it's taken 18 months to get that far. I am going to try and attempt every survey I am offered this year as they are good enough earners and I will try and put the vouchers etc away for next Christmas.I was really late home tonight so we all had silly dinners i.e soup and tins of stuff. Made the shepherds pie for tomorrow night so all organised for that now. Dancing starts again tomorrow night :D . Can't wait. Need to try and get on my diet again so might rejoin the slimming club on Wednesday night and get my butt into gear again. I got a free join slip in the post so I am pretty sure I will. Spent 20p from my shopping budget so thats not too bad either. Am getting back into this no spending quite easily. Hope it lasts ;)

  • Work again. Bust day but went nice and quickly. Have nearly enough in my account to pay the bills, just need £15 and I will be fine. Got £150 to find for dd though for spending money. Her dad said he would help out but as per he seems to be reneging on that. Typical of him so no big surprise there.
I got £1.10 from scratchcards today. No surveys and will do acouple of dooyoo reviews later. Not spent any money today which is great :). Kids are back at school tomorrow though so will have lunch money etc to pay. Going to really try and spend absolute minimum this week though as I want to pay a bit extra off of my cc if possible. If I dont manage then c'est la vie so long as my savings stay in their account.
Got my friend's dad's 70th this week so will need to buy a bottle of whisky for him.
Going back to fat club tomorrw as I have put on loads of weight over the hols ad want it off again. Worth paying the money as I spend less on shopping as I refuse to buy biccies etc cos I will eat them. Hope you are all well x
