  • Good morning. I am on holidaythis week so am chilling nicely. Have stuck on a wash this morning and the dishwasher. Going to tidy up a bit then go pay my MOT and then do nothing lol. No big plans today other than visiting a friend tonight. Will be a strange visit though as she is staying at her mum's just now as her mum is dying. Just going to give her some love and support. Will go get some flowrs today for her.
I am still feeling optimistic about debt busting, hopefully it will last.
Will concentrate n SONY and then Virgin. Still on 0% until June with virgin but no chance of getting any deal anywhere to pay it off so will have to thole the 16% they will be charging me after that. Tesco is on 0% until December then onto 20%. Maybe by December I will manage to get a balance transfer from someone.
Have contacted Barclaycard as they owe me £10. Have asked tham to send it to me and close my account as they are not offering any balance transfers at the mo. That'll be he cc's tidied up and I will ignore them until December and concentrate on paying them.
Starting to do my surveys etc again so that'll add to my coffers. Away to clean a wee bit now xx

  • Good evening
Spent most of today rewriting my form for promotion. Brain is now mush.Isn't it funny how you can write something and think it is wonderful thennext time you read it you can see it is pure mince . I had written a whole load of things early on today. Had my lunch and then changed it all :rotfl:. Probably still sh*t but will wait and see.

No spend today :j. Haven't been out mind you so that always helps.DS has a mate here tonight for a sleepover as we are heading off to DR Who exhibition in the morning. Going to take lunch with us though so hopefully no more spending. DS has some money of his own if he wants souvenirs. My brother is coming with me so it should be a giggle. No sales yet on e-bay :(. Quite often the last minute before things go though so not too bothered yet. Am away for a wander round. Don't like the way the boards are split now.x

  • TY KP/ Will do. Went to Dr Who today and spent the grand total of £2 on parking. Took all the food with me and the tickets were pre paid. Am well chuffed that's all I spent. Need to buy some food tomorrow and taking DD for a jacket for her birthday so will have a bit of a spend unfortunately. Managing not too bad so far though and going to continue thinking positively as I go on. DD is at her first gig tonight and I am sick sitting waiting on her coming home . Gave her the big chat re not leaving her juice lying about, not taking sweets or anything else anyone offers her etc etc. Totally over the top as per usual lol but hey I am her mum and I feel the need . Got my Argos account in today and was lovely to see balance as £0. Can't wait for the day the Halifax one is at £0 as it will be the last one to be paid off in 2014 :rotfl:

  • Good Morning. Went to Glasgoe yesterday and gto DD her jacket. £55  and I dont even like it. She is a girly girl and this is a superdry jacket and very boyish.Spent £12 on lunch :o. That was for 3 people though so not too bad. Kids bought cd's, posters etc but I didnt buy anything else so was well pleased with myself. Was £91 IN asda though:eek:. Bought Easter eggs and some biscuits for people for Easter but my god it is still way too much. I didn't even take the kids lol so can only blame myself. I had written a lsit but was very half hearted about it and bought all the list and loads more. THIS HAS TO STOP.
Going to meet friends for lunch today but one of them owes me £20 so will come away with more money than I went with so that's okay.No money in bank at ll from ex this week:mad:. Hopefully it is just due to the bank holiday and not him stopping his payments all together. Bad enough that he has cut them by £45 per week . Any way must go and see what the hell I can do with my hair. I dyed it last night and lets just say it was less than successful lol Have a good day xx

  • Good Morning
Final day of my hols :(. Can't believe that's 10 days gone by already. Yesterday was a no spend for me :D. Used loads of petrol though as trains were off and I had to run DD and her boyfriend all over the place. Didn't mind though. Not doing much today other than trying to clear out the cr*p on my computer and finish off my promotion form so can get it e-mailed off from work tomorrow. 75|% of it already done though. Just cannot get the thinking juices flowing for the last part yet.
My bank account is confusing me big time. There is extra money in it but not yet showing what it is on Internet banking. I am hoping so much that ex has put maintenance back in place but I am doubtful. Will see tomorrow. Not going to toch it until I check what it is first. Would be great though as it would more or less pay the ferry fares for our summer trip.Fingers crossed it is good news. ;). Ok am away to get this form completed. I want to browse on here today but need to clear that away first. Later x

  • hi Lunar. Lovely to hear from you. Will know tomorrow what the money is about hopeflully.
Got the form finished so will fire it in and see what the outcome of that is.
Had to give DD a tenner tonight as her friend and her mum have invited her out for lunch tomorrow so had to give her cash for that.Bl**dy expensive time the hols lol
Sold a couple of things on e-bay today but only got 99p etc for things. One was a Ben Sherman jacket fgs and it is in great nick. Would rather save myself the hassle and give them away. That's what I have done today and put the rest on freecycle. Have loads of people wanting the stuff and it will be out of my way. Very difficult to decide who gets it though. Going to chill and watch telly now. Marco yum yum
