oops I just pressed the like it button for my own thread. Didn't know what it was for and being me I just had to press it. I once pressed a button under a counter in my work - just to see what it was for- and an alarm went off. Not too bad you may think until 2 big policemen came running in the door mnutes later
. Didn't press it again:rolleyes:.
Anyways hello all. Hope everyone is well. I had to do more shopping today for food. Jeezo man how much can 2 kids get through ??? Daft question really. Was another £25. I have £232.69 left from my budget. I am going through juice so quickly as well. I buy ASDA's own fizzy juice but it still adds up.
I bought a set of 2 shirts for DS for school and DD needed a pair of dolly shoes. ASDA do them for a fiver but I end up buying them every 4 weeks or so. Have tried mre expensive ones and they only last that long too.I got nothing as usual .
Didn't go out last night and was just as well as the whole place flooded the rain was so bad. I am on a hill so if we get flooded then the whole town drowns
Got a bikecarrier today from a fellow freecycler . Just need to pluck up the courage now to get my bike out. I haven't ycled for years so it could be a major giggle trying to get started. My butt will be hanging over like saddle bags lol
I have started watching what I am eating as I said in another post. I have also started a journal of my experience on the way. It is only for me to read but may show folks it if I am successful. I have noted how uncomfortable I am and in what ways so that when I lose the weight it will remind me if I want to stray off the straight and narrow. Very depressing reading at the minute but am feeling positive about losing weight and paying debt.
Realised today that I had bought a table from Argos that is due paid in November. It's on 0% so I am going to set up a standing order from August to Novemeber to pay it off so that I am not struggling just before Christmas to get the cash together. 4 months at £56 will more or less do it for me.

Hi MIT - good to see you back. Really hope that you manage to get something sorted with the maintenance payments, it seems so unfair.
Good luck on the bike, one of my challenges for this year is to get back into bike riding, I used to cycle everywhere but I worry about the view from behind for the poor motorist too :rotfl:
Hope you are ok - these things are sent to try us x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Hi penguin. I'm not going to hold my breath re the maintenance as we have been separated for years and he keeps doing the same thing. I think he hopes I will give up but hey ho no I bloody won't :rotfl:. Nice to hear from you. Your totals are looking good too. Well done. I wish I had paid 37% off of my totals.x5 Year plan. no spend today :j. Was fed at my mum's so that was a plus also. Started working on the mountain that is my ironing. Got to about first base :rotfl:then gave up. Got 3 loads of washing done so I am getting there slowly but surely. I love catching up with the laundry as there is always a top you have forgotten in amongst it, Hmm maybe that's just me.
My ex was to come for my son today but didn't turn up:mad:. SAid he thought htat as he and dd had fallen out over the maintenance issue that he would not be welcome.Told him to grom up and stop making ds suffer just because he was in a huff. As per usual all this was done by text as he is too childis to actualy speak to me about anything important. DS was really upset so I got my brother to take him and do manly things with him all day. He ha much more fun with him anyway. Isn't it sad when an 11 year old states that his dad doesn't love him?? I then have to reassure him when all I want to do is hit his dad a punch :mad::mad:. I left him with my brother and I went to my mum's for some TLC.
I have about £20 left this week and am going to do my damndest to try and make it last until Friday. I am going though to my friends on Tuesday but should have enough petrol and I have a bottle of wine I can take with me. I'll pick up some cakes and flowers on the way so that won't be too bad. Good afternoon. I still have a wee week off to enjoy but it is moving along way way too fast. Got my tickets in today for Bruce Springsteen :j:j:j. I am soooo excited about seeing him. The man is sex on legs
.
Looks like an NSD again today. Not going anywhere as poor dd has mega cramp and I am drugging her up and using hot water bottles etc to try and make her comfortable. Feel so sorry for her. Had a bit of a night of it with DS last night. I was up late and heard him crying in his bed. When I went up he made up some story about being concerned about going to high school but I know it was due to the disappointment of his dad not turning up yesterday.:mad::mad:.
Most bills now paid for the month and my account appears to have enough in it to cover the rest. I just need to make sure I keep to my budget for everything else and I will be okay. Fingers crossed don't get any surprise expenses. My friend has not worked out how much I owe her yet for the bracelets so am going to have a look myself and get the money to her at the weekend. Hope everyone is well. xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Well I have been a busy bee today. To get out my back door you go under my stairs and then out. Bit strange I know. But also under there are all the shoes, coats and basically just a glory hole for all and sundry. Today I have thrown out about 20 pairs of shoes( yes 20). Got jackets, scarves, hats etc ready for the charity shop. I have a boot full of cr*p for the skip. I have advertised a sewing machine, a hoover for the car and a carpet sweeper on freecycle and I have a box of stuff for a car boot. Knackered now lol. Oh and cleaned the whole place thoroughly with bleach and soapy stuff. Smells lovely and clean. It ponged earlier , that is why I decided to clean it out.
Definately a NSD today as I haven't moved from the house. Have stuck to the healthy eating as well so that is all good. I am feeling much more positive than I did a few days ago. Hope everyone has had a fruitful day like I have :j

Hi folks. Was away at my friends in Edinburgh yesterday overnight. Had a lovely time but spent too much. I was watching what I was spending as well . Bought wine and chocs for friend and her dd and grandson. Bought sweets, cakes etc to amuse the kids and some nibbles. I always feel when you are going to someone's house, especially overnight, that you cannot go empty handed. This friend would totally understand if I said sorry but totally skint. It's a pride thing I think. On way home kids were starving so I got them rolls and sausage at a wee van and some juice. Total spend £36
. Could have bought this week's shopping with that . Never mind. It's done now and we had a lovely night. I was money saving in other senses though. She has a fabulous garden and had grown lots of offshoots of hedge for me. My front fence is rusting and needs replacing but I have no money. She suggested a hedge and I have now transplanted said hedge into my garden. Fingers crossed that it will take root as it cost me nothing.
Whilst I was there I joined a dating site. What a laugh we had. I had hardly put my detauls on when I noticed someone had talked to me. nearly sh*t myself lol. It's all very well signing up for these things but I need about 3 months to pluck up the courage to actually talk to anyone. I am a confident person but I have no self confidence if that makes sense! I swing from 'who would want me?' to 'someone would be lucky to have me'. Hmm worrying lol. TBH I'm not that sure I am ready for all this but we'll see. I have put on a picture today so they will no doubt do a runner, or maybe not. Put on my profile that a trophy girlfriend I ain't and not to bother if they were looking for a nice size 10 lol.

hi folks. Another nsd today for me :j. I'll need to be polishing my halo soon:D. DS has been a bit under the weather so we have a quiet day watching torchwood. Last day of my hols tomorrow
. Back to work on Monday. No doubt will have about 200 e-mails to catch up on. Was going to go to the shops for potatoes and bread but not going to bother. I have waffles which the kids like better anyway and I have Smash for me.
Will do a menu plan tonight and go to supermarket with a list tomorrow. Hopefully not spend too much as I need to keep cash for concert on Tuesday ( Bruce Springsteen omg). A friend is giving me a lift home so at least won't need money for a taxi:j. I have chicken and bread sauce and veggies as well for tonight so that will be delish. Kids will not be pleased to go back to a basic shop but unfortunately needs must.
I keep reading on other people's diaries about doing a second job. This would be something I could consider except for the fact that I get tax credits and the job would have to pay more than £65 per week to make it worth my while. Will look into it more I think but would only do it if it was worth my while. A friend offered me some work but not through her books but morally I just couldn't do that. I would lose my main job if I got caught so not worth the risk. Hope you are all good x5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

I just transferred my Sony card ( or majority of it anyway) to Barclaycard. 0% until Jan 2010 the 12.9% after that. The difference is incredible in my debt free date. It has cut 3 and a half years off of my dates . Totally unbelievable but wahey !! :j I am one very happy bunny. Going toconcentrate on paying off the £175.62 I have left to pay to Sony and then Tesco after that. They are both smallish accounts but will feel good if I get them to h*ll. Not going to kill myself doing it but going to see what I can manage after Blackpool and uniforms are bought. Am all excited now
.
I have doen the menu plan and have my list all ready. Told the kids no treats this week and they were fine with that. Hmm we'll see5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
