Hello
Nice to see you back:j0 -
Thanks KP. Nice to be back. Totally skint as per usual but hey ho..Hope you and yours are all good and you had a nice holiday.
Spent £50.91 today. That was between Aldi and ASDA so I am well pleased with that. Should keep us going for the next week hopefully. No doubt the kids will be moaning that there is nothing to eat as there is very little in the way of treats amongst it. Couple packs of plain biccies ( smart price of course;)) and that is all. Lods of fruit and bread etc so they won't starve. Hmm on second thoughts they just might.
My DS is leaving junior school and going to high school and he is so funny at the minute. My mum has booked us all into a four star hotel in August for a short break,DS being the geek that he is was online checking the reviews etc. He was looking at the hotel facilities and shouted through to me ' oh my god mum there is room service' DD and I were making the dinner and I gave the stock answer of ' Aye that's good son' he then shouted ' What's room service?' DD and I were rolling about :rotfl::rotfl: . Might be one of those moments where you have to be there but was hilarious.
I have £10 to do me until Tuesday. Will need to try and keep it though as I am going to see Bruce on Tuesday and a couple of cheeky wines will be in order. I get my child benefit weekly too, so get that on Tuesday so will be able to use that as well if I need it.
My neighbour is 65 next week and his wife is having a wee do for him. Will need to buy him a bottle of something nice to take in with me. Love him to bits but jeezo man can his birthday not be in Septmber or something I am well skint just now. Bl**dy fed up having no money . Going to see Harry P next week. Kids will be paying their own tickets though as I am skint( might have mentioned that already mind you) . I'll book them on my card and pay it off next week. I think I must have spoilt the kids in the past as ds's face was a picture when I said he was to pay his own lol
Going out tonight to a friend's house. Had a bottle of wine in the fridge already so no further cost. Can walk there and back too although the hill will kill me off no doubt. Torchwood was fabby
. Don't you just love Captain Jack??? What a serious waste of a divine specimen of a man.
No spend again today :j. Ordered tickets last night for Harry Potter. KIds have paid their own.
We are all huge fans and have read all the books and seen all the other films. KIds have been counting down for this one so I have had to fit it into the budget. I Have actually put it onto my CC at the moment but DD owes me a tenner so I will use that and pay it off of the card immediately. THere was a huge fair in our local town today. We go every year and I spend about £50 minimum. THis time thankfully DD is away out with her boyfriend and DS doesn't know it's on.
I have worked in the house all day and it now shines like a new pin. THe only thing I still have to do is the ironing which I am going to start very soon. I want to have a shower and be relaxing by the time Doctor WHo comes on. Another divine man to drool over :rotfl:. I need to leave at 9.30 to go to Glasgow and collect DD as she is going to see a show with her boyfriend and no way is she getting the train home at that time of night.
Ate out of the cupboards and freezer today so am managing so far to stick to my menu plan. I have 2 sirloin steaks for my mum and I tomorrow but thankfully the kids don't like them. THey will have chicken. Have enough for my sandwiches etc all week. DS will be at my mum's during the day and DD will be working quite a lot so will only have brekkie and dinner here. Back to work for me unfortunately xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Happy Sunday folks. Back to work tomorrow for me
. Really really cba. Only in for 3 weeks though and off for another 2 so not too bad. Will be a frantic 3 weeks though no doubt.
Helicopters are flying over my house at regular intervals just now. The golf was on just up the road so that'll be their 'taxis' arriving :rotfl:. We were sat watching all the helicopters flying about the other day whilst we were sunbathing on the other side of the Loch. I forget what an amazing part of the world I live in. Seen quite a bit of it the last 2 weeks though what with driving to Islay, which meant a drive right up the length of the whole of Loch Lomond, and going for picnics etc in the lovely weather we have had. Raining today though. The weather must be coming out in sympathy with my return to work.
Looks like another nsd today as I have got everything in that I need for dinner and just going to spend my final day off chilling and cooking. Spent all day yesterday cleaning and ironing and OMG you should have seen the amount of ironing I got through. The poor wardrobes are groaning.
Forgot to say earlier in the week that I have lost 6lbs since coming back from hols so am well pleased with that. Not dieted as such, more watched what I have been eating. I have been referred to the weight management scheme at the local hospital ( at my request) as I have a good few stones to lose and I just feel now is the time to get it done. This scheme goes into the psyche of weight problems so hopefully it will work for me .
DD paid me back the tenner she owed me as my neighbour left her a card with a £10 in it for looking after their rabbit whilst they are on hols. She was well chuffed. So am I lol cos it means I now have £20 to spend at Brucie boy on Tuesday night. Only 2 more sleeps until I see the man himself. Am so excited. Will probably be my final night out until I have retirement do in 21 years . It'll take me that long to clear my debt
. Slight exaggeration that.
Was thinking this morning that I would be better off by £640 per month if I had no debt . I could do wonders with that. What a life we could have and I wouldn't need to do all these nsd's :rotfl:. Never mind. One of these days I will be debt free and you are all invited to the party xx5 Year plan.
