hi. Didn't realise I hadn't been on for a few days:o. i AM SOOOOOOOO skint it is not funny. I have £80 to do for the week. I owe my friend £18. Lunches will be £25 so I have £37 to do the shpping. My cupboards are getting really bare. Kids are having a right moan about it. Too bad I'm afraid as there is no cash to help us out until I get paid. I texted y ex tonight and reminded him of parts of his childhood where his dad drank all the money and his mum fed them on soup and puddings all week. I congratulated him as he was probably putting his own kids in this position now. I am so angry that he still doing this. He paid £20 last week but no moey again this week. That's £20 since the beginning of June .
DS started high school today. He looked all grown up in his new uniform. He's no longer my baby :rotfl:.
I have a dish of lasagne and one of macaroni cheese that I can use next week. I have a casserole ready for tomorrow night so that's just 4 nights need to feed us lol. Might have some pasta sauces that I can just add chips to and I reckon I have some super noodles somewhere too. Might get away with buying a few basics and a huge bag of potatoes. I'll get loads of bread and stuff so we should be fine. There'll just be no luxuries. Damn I just remembered I'll need petrol too. I could cry but I'll just not bother lol. Hope you are all well x5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Im sure youll do fine. Try the basic bisuits etc. I get 24 jaffas for 50. 18 choc bars for 1.03 as a cheap treat for me and the kids. Strawberry angel delight the value brand is about 7p in Tesco so a very cheap pudding.
Bless DS at new school got that to come in a copule of weeks for DD1. Where did the time go?:j0 -
Thanks KP for the hugs. I know where does the time go? They grow up so fast. He seems to be quite happy and is mixing well enough with other boys so I am a bit more settled now. Just managed to blag my dinner at my mum's on Sunday so only 3 meals to find now:rotfl:. Am going to go through the cupboards andsee what I have got and see if I can muddle through. It hasn't been clean for weeks. Bits of it have been done but hopefully in an hour or so it willall be clean :rotfl:AND all the washing is done. Last load is in machine just now and sun is shinin so should all dry on the line too :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:MIT is a happy bunny. She is also a sad git lol
I have Aretha Franklin playing some smooth tunes and my world is good. Ah except for being skint skint skint :rotfl:.
Have my list written for ASDA this afternoon and I will do my damndest to stick to it like glue. I have approx £30 to feed us but have managed to pull together a few meals from stuff that is lying in cupboards etc so should manage on the £30 if Iam really strict. Will let you all know later. Have a good day xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Good evening. I didn't go to ASDA until today. I spent £30.51 :j. I even managed some biccies, crisps and cheap fizzy juice within that. THere are 2 meals included in that and I haave lots and lots of basics so we won't starve. my trolley was full of smart price and DS said to me 'are we really that poor' when he saw the cupboard full of white tins lol. I get paid next weekend and will have about £100 left over after everything is paid. Although I won't be overpaying as such I have rounded up each cc to the nearest tenner so they are all getting overpaid by a little bit each month. It all counts I suppose. I need to stop stressing about all this as I am losing sleep now and if I fall to nits then everything will fall to bits.
On a more positive note my washing, ironing and housework is all up to date :rotfl::j. THat's the first time in months where I can say that.
BAck to work tomorrow and that's getting right on my nerves as well. THere's a girl who has only worked in our business for just over a year and she is deputising for the manager despite me letting it be known I want promotion. I have been there 10 years:mad:. Bloody sick of it to be honest as some of the decisions she is making are laughable. I have e-mailed the new office manager about it and I have spoken to my own manager about it as well so we will see what happens. I have either dug my own grave by questioning it or I will be given the opportunity. I just can't respect her though as I know so much more than she does and it irks me. I am finding it really difficult to even be civil to her and I am not normally like that. I need the money too lol.
So no big stories money wise other than that it looks like I will make it through to pay day and I need to take some pride in that as it has been hell getting there. At least coming on here you realise there are many more in the same situation. It does help . Take care xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Right I have just joined PAP's challenge of a debt in 100 days. I have £653.92 to pay off of SONY at the low low interest of 29 % ( humph) . I am not going to overpay 1 penny to anything despite earlier plans and just get thsi debt to hell. AM quite excited about this now. I need to pay £6.54 per day to manage it. SOunds okay when you say it like that. It must be achievable. SOme folks are trying to pay huge debts in that time but hey I dont have a huge income so I will tackle a small debt with a big interest rate. I'll be well chuffed if I get rid of that one.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

I dont have the excess income either MIT so it can be a bit depressing when you see people owing thesame but looking to be debt free in a year  Im still on track for 2014.
Well done on the shopping front - Ive got lots of blue and white tesco goodies in my cupboards. Thankfully mykids dont seem to mind. Im sure that will change at some point.
 ref work that is so not fair. Hope they listen to you if not their loss and you just work for the money.:j0 -
Good luck with the challenge MIT, Im sure you can clear that card in 100 days. Sorry work is being such a pain at the moment. How are things on the money front with the ex? Have you gone through the CSA? I remember them being absolutly useless for my mum when we were young. He gave her £20 per month while his new wife was covered in new (tacky) jewelery all the time and they both drove sports cars while she didnt work. I really hope you get something sorted out soon.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0

Hi guys. KP yes it is a bit depressing but you and I will just keep each other company for the years ahead lol.
Lunar ths is me going through CSA. They re sending the account to debt management but I doubt they will have much luck We have been split for nearly 10 years now and it has been a constant battle the whole time money. I waver from wanting to fight for the money and telling him to naff off . I always end up fighting for it though as the money is not for me but for the kids. Pees meoff that I have to fight at all. If he wasn't such a pathetic excuse for a man then I wouldn't need to.
Got a reply from my new office boss today. He is coming tomorrow to meet my staff and wants a private meeting with me . He says he sees it as his job to encourage anyone wanting progression and wants to discuss it with me. He apparently hates cliques which is one of the main problems in my office. If your face fits and all that. Mine doesn't as I am too gobby lol. My last office boss told me I was facetious!! My mum used to say that to me when I was a teenager !!!!!! I am now 44 ....way past the facetious stage :rotfl:. I was then given advice to play the 'bosses' game'. Unfortunately I don't play games and told them no and that if my promotion depended on kissing so and so's !!! then I would never get it. Again unfortunately this comment was fed back to said boss.:o. OOPS. So toorrow I need to be cool, calm and efficient. Gawd help me. I will be honest with him and even own up to the inappropriate comments as he willno doubt be told about them anyway. Hopefully he will enjoy my honesty lol.
I got free doors for my kitchen cupboards tonight. They are fab. White high gloss and approx 6 months old. I will need to buy 3 small doors and a hood cover but basically a free kitchen. Keep your fingers crossed for me that the doors fit my units as I am really excted about it. Means I have to pay for the other doors but I can't say no as my kitchen is minging. Not much to tell on the money front . Will make it through the week (just) and get paid at weekend so totals will go down a wee bit for the first time in ages. Hope you are all well and I will atch up on th eother diaries tomorrow nigh. I will also update you on what happened with my boss. :eek:5 Year plan.
