I can drink the ASDA one although I do prefer the real stuff. ASDA also do a quite good iron brew which we all like. UNfortunately we all drink a load of juice so I need to try and cheapen this bill a bit. My brother is away to ASDA so have told him to get me other stuff. My dd will drink the Morrisons' lot as she likes it.
My kids are fighting like cat and dog tonight and it is really doing my head in. If they don't watch out they will be getting sent to bed.
My mum is getting a new kitchen and her oven is only a couple of years old. MIne is ancient so I am taking hers but the wee sweetie sent me out a brand new hob today to go with it. MIne is over 20 years old so it is well appreciated.

Was reading my last post and just realised that my kids will get the delicious taste of toasted cheese for the first time ever lol. My grill has never worked since dd was young. They love cheese toasties so no doubt will love toast and melted cheese too. How sad that I get excited over this
.
My mum's kitchen is sooo nice. I am well jealous. Well not jealous but wowsa I wish it was mine lol . overspent a bit today as bought sandwiches which I should really have made and taken in with me. Would have saved me about £5 cos I got chocolate and a trifle too:eek: am a greedy pig. mde fish for dinner but kids didn't like and I was less than enthusiastic about it tbh. I hate when that happens as you end up munching all evening.
My friends are coming to my mum's tomorrow night to help me wash everything down so that the dust will be minimal for her so that will be great. Thank god for good mates . WOuld take me days to do it myself and my poor mum would be breathing all that dust into her knackered old lungs.......Not good!!
I hope everyone is well xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Good evening. Well what a busy couple of days I have had. Knackered again
. Cleaned all my mum's kitchen on Tuesday night. In fact we cleaned the whole house and emptied all the boxes into the kitchen cupboards. I didn't get home until after 10 and had been out since 7.40am . Yesterday night I went to my Gaelic night class so wasn't home until after 10 again . Left work at 3 today to take my mum to hospital, then took her and 2 kids to mac Donalds and Morrisons. I was well stressed after that little lot. 1mum, 2 kids, 2 trolleys and a wheelchair:eek:. Spent £87 on shopping:mad:. Never mind. Done now. Otherwise not been too bad on the spending front. Paid for my car tax online tonight so that's that done. Still have money left from my wages. I would overpay my cards but my weekly budget is so so tight I am afraid to leave myself short.I've done that in the past and ended up using my credit card so I want to avoid that at all costs. I hope everyoneis good xx

hello hello! How is everyone?
TGFF. a LONG LIE TOMORROW !!!!!!!!!:j:j
I am knackered this week. My boss has worked me like a dog this week. At least I have managed to clear most of the work he has set us my team mates have written it all down to start on Monday lol. No spend today other than petrol so I am well happy with that. been using my card to pay for stuff and immediately paying it off. TRying to save myself some interest. Probably only saving me pennies but every penny counts. My dd and I haven't had our hair cut since October. DD has been begging me to call the hairdresser and today sent me a text saying she might kill herself if I didn't sort it out:rotfl:. SHe was joking but hey I have booked it in for tomorrow. I am so looking forward to getting it done. Nice treat. Will cost me about £40 though.
I got £6.50 towards my CSA arrears this week:j what a boost to my finances ............NOT . Never mind it will pay for 1 day's school dinners this week. I got £6.50 on 16th DEcember as well so I am being really ungrateful aren't I :rotfl:. ANyway I intend to chill tonight as I have a full weekend in front of me. Hppy weekend everyone xx5 Year plan. Good evening. Spent £41.97 today:rolleyes:. £40 on haircuts and £1.97 on batteries for my pedometer.
I think I mentioned months ago that I am attending a weight management programme. I need to lose loads of weight. I piled it on when I stopped smoking and was never that slim to start off with . THought I would try this as a couple of folks in work have had some success with it. It's not a diet and over 4 months they are only hoping you lose 10lbs. So I played about through December but I managed to only put on 2.5lbs over Christmas so that is a bonus. I have an appointment with the gym on Monday night to start some sort of exercise programme. Am terrified lol as it is donkey's years since I was near a gym.
Looks like we have mice again:eek:. I live across the road from a burn and fields so we have had them before. I hate hate hate them. I was dreaming last night that they were running over me in my bed. I have set the traps and my dd has said she will check them etc as she knows how sick I feel thinking about them.
Watching Bridget Jones yet again. Great film xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

No spend today:j. Been a nice productive day as well. Have cleaned all the bedrooms to a high standard (i.e. I haven't just thrown things in cupboards). Bathroom is spotless. Ironing is up to date. Going to finish lounge and kitchen. Will do a couple of loads of washing and then relax lol. I have made tomorrow night's dinner and am going to make sandwiches for lunches tomorrow. There is just so much to catch up on at the weekend and tbh some weekends the house gets just enough of a clean to ensure we don't all die of something :rotfl:.
No mice in the traps last night but I really had a hard job sleeping as I was convinced I could hear them. I couldn't lol DS was having a friend over to stay and it was them whispering etc that I could hear.
DD has broken up with her boyfriend so there were many tears last night. Why do I always want to laugh in these circumstances?:o 3 other boys have asked her out already .
Am trying to increase my steps every day by wearing a pedometer. Manged just under 5000 yesterday but was out shopping etc with my mum. Today I haven't even managed 2,000. I wish the weather was a bit better and I would go out a walk. I'll walk up and down my hall for a wee while and see how many I can manage. Hope you are all well xx5 Year plan. I Just read the whole of Penguin's diary. There was a bit about how much she would need to pay each month to reach her target. I have joined the olympic 2012 challenge and to manage that I need to pay off £590 per month:eek: to my cc's. I might have bitten off a wee bit more than I can chew there lol. Never mind it's a target to set myself.
So far this month then £166.72/ £590 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
13 days to go so I would need to do £25 approx per day. Hmm no chance lol5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
