I dont think there is a merit list etc... I was 67th out of 72 or something like that and I got through with some other ppl who were alot higher than me.

I was hoping someone could help me out here, I applied and was successful for the above post (IRC 62230) in Chester, the thing is, I haven't received my crb check, but when I called Newcastle they said all my checks were complete and I was just to wait for news of a start date, was also told I am number 12 on the merit list. I am a bit worried as everyone else on here seems to have received their crb checks to their address, is this the case does anyone know?. is there a phone number I can call direct to check, or does anyone know if this is o.k. or does everyone receive a copy of their crb.

FAO Anybody waiting for IRC62504 in Bham & Solihull, things may be happening. I received a call today from district office offering me a position starting in January.

I was 5th on the wait list and have been an AO for 3months (about a month when I was interviewed.)

Taking a couple of days deciding what office I fancy before letting them know.

has anyone previously ever had a call from Capita RAS asking them personally to attend an interview having already sent them an email confirming interview?

I've already been successful for IRC 60811 (EO) and am waiting for the call and applied for Manchester ages ago.

I was just taken aback by them calling making sure I was attending. Is this usual?

Hi everyone

Been following this thread a bit over the past few weeks but no-one ever seems to mention this IRC. I applied for it back in March/April and got letter saying I was successful about the 20th May. Since then I have emailed nearly every month and have moved from 39th to 32nd on the list but no news on posting. They confirmed that there had been a recruitment pause but said things were moving now.

Curiously last weekend I got a letter saying that as I was on the waiting list for this would I be interested in working in JC's in Northumbria district and which ones. I emailed the lady and let her know my current position and contract terms (I am and AO and permanent) and have heard nothing more.

Anyone else had this?

Oh and congratulations to anyone who has recently been posted - especially those who have been out of work. i know how frustrating this can be especially if you are not working.

Yes I also first received the email then got a call. It is usually the other way round. Strange. I there on Sat at 1.45

You do know that its against the eletronic media policy to you use the computer for personal use in work time? If you get caught you'll be out the door before you know it.

Please don't do it, its not worth the risk and gives the department a bad name.
