did you get your preferred location? i'm a bit further down the ML than you were (59th), so maybe i'll get the call next week.

Incredibly, they have just phoned me to offer me the position! I can't believe it!

I have accepted and start on Tuesday!

Its 20 hrs a week for 3-6 months, then full time after that - Permanent.
A nice gentle intro for someone who hasn't worked for 18 years!
Starting salary £16,000 pro rata with uniform provided, twice yearly bonuses, 20% discount at their stores, 6 weeks holidays.

the beers are chilling already - yay! :beer:

Yes I did its in Wisbech, about 15min drive from where I live.

After my excitment and surprise of actually getting the call I forgot to ask about the important stuff lol. Will they send me my contract in the post and will they send me info also about the pension schemes?

Still not heard anything on the West Yorks IRC apart from the letter last week asking if I was still interested !

Congrats Heather! I knew you would do well,you deserve it and at least you found out pretty much straight away compared to this whole DWP farce. Sounds like a really good job too!

thanks hunny, Sue had left by the time i got round to returning her call so will spk to her next week and see what she says, have u heard anything re west yorks yet babes
