Can you elaborate more than this?
What area?
What IRC?
Etc etc...
It's no use to anyone just posting what you did, sorry.
Most of us know, and if we didn't, instead of writing that we'd have looked at their previous posts, which would have taken less time.

That's great news - bet you're chuffed! The part-time hours during the hols will be a relief for you. Hope you don't have to travel too far to work, as it isnt your preferred location.
Good luck for the 16th0 -

Glad to hear you got "the call" at last, even though you have decided not to take up the offer. All part of life's rich tapestry, eh? Good luck in what you're doing anyway.0 -

Thank you so much, I do have a fair drive, but I always have to drive a fair way as there is nothing in the town I live in....I am really chuffed, and really didn't expect it to happen so quickly to be honest...I think the job I am at are going to be difficult! I was told a weeks notice as it is a temp job, but now they are saying that it is a week from the Saturday...I really wanted to have a few days off before starting my new job....grrr..
Sorry I shouldn't be annoyed about that, I am in a very lucky position and just hope that everyone gets good news soon....x0 -
Was there not a chance to be offered anything else later on? If you don't mind me asking what do you mean by department and what area did you get offered? Was that a 16th Nov start date? That's quite soon considering some get given 5 weeks ones!
hiya yes it was the 16th November start date, start training at the Holiday Inn, and then Hartshead square which is where i would be posted, the post was for the employer engagement team, when i asked what they did, she said that they dealt with calling people in order to keep their custom !!!!! not what i had imagined at all, perhaps sammy can elaborate on this for me please.0
