Any idea what we're expected to wear? I've got a ton of office clothes from my last job - shift dresses, shirts, trousers etc don't want to go in looking like a total !!!! though!!
Also, I've to go to the Leven branch on Monday morning to meet some woman there. They've said to bring my P45 but to be honest, I dont think my current employer is organised to have that done by then! lol
Best of luck for all those starting soon in their new positions!!
Hey, yeah im pretty much set! Confused to be honest. Im my start letter i got by email it said i had to go to dunfermline jobcentre on monday then start in leven and report to Liz hyslop on tuesday. But i got a letter in the post last week saying to go to leven on Monday. Argh! Im down at leven tomorrow seeing my lone parent advisor so i'll confirm it with her!
Im just gonna wear smart/casual i think. Work trousers, a nice top....Im not sure whats expected but ive been in leven a lot and not many people are over dressed!
You all set then? I dont have a p45 either but was told we can fill in a p46 just the same xx0 -

Hi Mandie (and anyone else with that start date)
Good luck for Monday
Re: dress - In my local Jobcentre the women all wear smart trousers and blouses/tunics. I have never seen anyone in a skirt (although I have seen one guy in a kilt!). The men all wear collars and ties - even the security guards.0 -

I GOT THE CALL!!! Someone pinch me!!!
Can't believe it managed to get an ideal location as well! Start 23rd November. They've changed the goal posts though it's now only a 12 month contract.
Thanks to everyone who's provided info and moral support, good luck to everyone!
Anyone else on this IRC hold tight.
It's been a long 4 months!
WELL DONE:beer::beer::beer:0 -

I think they must've been using a template for sending out all the emails because my email stated I started last Monday, but my letter says I start on 2nd Nov!!! lol!
Ive checked and it's defo THIS monday coming! haha! Ive to report to Pat Conroy. tbh, I've never been in the Leven branch - been in St Andrews and Cupar one plenty of times!!! lol!
Think I'll stick to trousers and a top for Monday.... sus out what everyone else wears. lol!
Im really looking forward to it. Should be good fun! Good luck for Monday if I dont get a chance to say so beforehand! I guess I'll see you next week at some point! :rotfl::beer:0
