Hi, I had my tests and assessment day back in July, got a letter in August saying I had been sucessful and they were just doing my pre-recruitment checks, after they came back I would here from them. I didnt hear for the rest of August or September, so started ringing them on the numbers I had been given, they just rang off or were engaged, nightmare!!!! Finally I got a different number from the job centre for employee shared services and they have now told me, DWP are re-evaluating there staffing structure and anyone that is sucessful after that will be informed at the end of Oct or early Nov, so Im still waiting and still haven't found another temp job!!! Really hope I get this but the waiting is ridiculus, they should tell ou at the interview or at least in the letter they send out!!!

They do your Disclosure check and a BSS check on your background just to check you really are you, as soon as these come back ok, then your on the waiting list. I also got told that DWP will always interview even if the job isn't available so don't worry everyone applying will be put on the waiting list anyway, because they will have to clear those that have waited the longest first, don't think anyone would just step into a DWP job straight away. Has anyone heard back from IRC 61139 yet?? Had interview in July received my sucessful letter in Aug and am still waiting, have been told DWP are re-evaluating there staffing structure, anyone else been told this??

It never mentioned any lists on my success letter for IRC 61302 either so I guess it was a shock to all of us to learn this.

This was the email I received back on the 13th Oct....

I have been asked to contact you regarding your request under the Freedom of Information Act. I can confirm that you are joint first on the merit list for selection exercise IRC61302.

I understand that your pre-recruitment checks have been completed and, as you are aware, we are currently awaiting further information from Jobcentre Plus regarding future opportunities.

So like you i'm not sure what is happening with this job. Here's hoping we hear something soon!

How do you know they are no longer recruiting?

My original IRC application is for a BDC position, I wonder if they intend to post successful candidates from this IRC into Jobcentres.

It's all guessing isn't it.
This is the worst candidate experience I have ever received.

I'm sure people think I'm making this up when they ask of I got the job and I have to say, well, I was told I was successful but JCP are currently reviewing staffing positions.

The IRC I am waiting on is for a contact centre too and as far as I'm aware it is all still going ahead. I had an email from them the other day saying they'd been instructed to carry out checks on the top 42 of the merit list recently.

I think you still have hope 'cos after i read your post, i rang the dwp number as i got a success letter for the same irc 62668 and i was told that everyone on the merit list has been put forward for checks and will be posted after that. Did they say you are on the merit list or waiting list?

Has anyone got any news on irc61715? I been told that I am 54th on the merit list. They are currently advertising for more EO's in the Thames Valley
area, confused or what.
