DWP employment waiting list

Hi again, had my Atos face to face medical last week and emailed the guy at the dwp. I told him I had been given the ok for work and that the info was sent to HR. Just got an email off him saying he's received the report and they will contact me when vacancy happens, also he's been onto the local JC to let them know. So, that sounds promising:rotfl:

I've been reading this forum with interest having been in the same boat. However, I finally registered today to share some info for anyone waiting on IRC60166. (Dorset)

I finally got "The Call" today after waiting since my interview in June, so if you're waiting on this one don't give up hope yet!!!

Congratulations to everyone who has had the call last couple of days! It gives us all a bit of hope when someone gets the call from an interview back in June!

Iam still waiting for Birmingham 60076.... applied May, interview June, successful letter July, CRB check, references, telephone health interview, all verified as okay, complete and sent off. No information since!

thanks babes, bday cake tomo, the bun lady has bought loads of buns n muffins in today for every1 choc 1s, iced ones, one with smarties on them and others), and as the team has been doing very well the boss bought loads of posh sarnies, choc brownies rice crispie cakes and stuff for every1 so we all been fat pigs today, went to view a training session in Derby 1st thing which was quite nice but did nearly drop off a few times within the 2 hour presentation, omg i think im brain dead, thank god for the chocolate :rotfl::rotfl:

Hi,

I got a call from the DWP today telling me my checks were now complete and they had added me to a merit list - however, I'm like 83rd on that list!!

I was wondering if this means I should give up hope of ever getting posted or whether there is still a chance?? Btw I applied for an AO role for which the code is IRC60245 (leeds/west yorkshire!).. The interview and tests were all done on the same day a couple months ago at The Met in leeds..

Help! I have just been offered a temporary position (until xmas) and am not sure what I should do. Still no word from dwp. Its an admin job with Scottish Social Services. The pay is good and the experience would be invaluable. They want a recent Disclosure (not a problem - I have 2 c/o dwp lol!). Should I decline and hold on for the dwp job or accept and risk not being available to start if I get "the call"?
