Thank you for your e mail dated 8 October 2009. Louise Perry, Customer Service Manager for Employee Shared Services Resourcing has asked me to respond on her behalf. Firstly can I apologise for not being able to reply to you sooner.
I would like to explain to you that Employee Services Resourcing administers selection activity on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions and as such often has to work to timelines imposed by the Business.
I know that you have already been advised by a member of our recruitment team that Jobcentre Plus are currently reviewing their staffing position and that they should be able to give us a clear steer by late October as to how quickly we can begin to post successful applicants from the merit list.
After speaking to our recruitment team today I can confirm that you are in fact tenth on the merit list and that all your baseline security checks were cleared on the 29th of September. The business originally declared 35 vacancies on this exercise so I do not anticipate any problems in offering you a post in due course.
I realise you may still be disappointed that we cannot offer you a start date just yet. However, if you wish to discuss this matter further please do not hesitate to contact me on the number above.
Well at least this does look promising. I was starting to think that the jobs did not exist any more. I know all my checks have cleared and I am near the top of the merit list, so fingers crossed for that call soon.0 -
Heard from DWP yesterday regarding my online tests a week or so ago for a HEO position, passed the test and am now on a waiting list for the interview...
Fingers crossed, anyone else been or in this situation with regard to an HEO role?
Hi TazR, Had an email from them y'day too.....on the waiting list as well. Have you applied for IRC63183 as well?0 -
I too received the email for the HEO online assessment saying I had achieved the minimum standard and was on a waiting list - for 6 months no less:eek:! What Exactly does that mean? Surely the job is either available or not! This was for IRC63183. Also applied for IRC62668 for which i had an interview on 12 Oct and am waiting the results.........0
