DWP employment waiting list

I put in a 'complaint' a few weeks ago, but the responses haven't really addressed my complaint and have essentially told me to wait until the end of October (end of freeze) as they can't give me any information until then. A lot of people from lower down the merit list have already been placed on this IRC, which I know is totally up to them, but for those people who suggested this maybe wasn't allowed, I think it must be as I have raised it several times in my contact and haven't gotten anywhere with it. Not sure what else to do, except just keep waiting.

Just had the phone call start the 6 week training on 2nd November, got the infamous successful letter on 16th July so thats a 3 month wait. My IRC was 60418 based in Coventry and have managed to get my 1st choice location not bad eh, feeling pretty smug at present. Thanks all for the advice, great infomative forum and good luck to all of you the call will come!!

Well done irbweb, good luck for the 2nd Nov, i have now been on the list since July 23rd so fingers crossed for the rest of us, hope we are not here for much longer! Grest news for you though, let us know how it all goes wont you. :beer:

well thats my 1st day done and i can honestly say there are a bunch of nutters lol, every1 made me feel very welcome and even the sales ppl came over to welcome me, the office is very very relaxed, they use msn to talk to 1 another and when not busy use ebay and face book etc, there is no pressure, no irate ppl on phone just confused school admin staff lol, well the feeling i get is that im gonna love it there, my boss is bonkers its her bday tomo (42) but i swear shes going on 8 just like me lol, the only problem is now, if i do ever get the call from DWP unless its my perfect location etc i wudnt know what to do, but im not worrying about it until if/when it actually happens, hope every1 elses day went well xx

Congrats! Its great to get the call after a long wait eh? I also start on 2nd Nov after getting my success letter on 10th June lol. So glad you got the office you wanted. Good luck xxx
