For anyone waiting on IRC 60370, I received this email this morning.

Thank-you for your email regarding IRC 60370.

Currently Jobcentre Plus are still reviewing their staffing requirements
across your region and they have advised that they expect this process
to be complete by the end of October.

I hope that this helps to ease any confusion you are experiencing and
welcome any further questions you may have surrounding this.

I've been lurking here for a while so thought it's about time I made a post to congratulate those who have had the call so far and let you know my status!

I applied for IRC 62305 which was based in Lowestoft at their Contact Centre, so it wasn't one of these regional recruitment things but lots of jobs at that one location as far as I could tell.

Anyway I had the tests on August 24th

Intervew on August 26th

Success letter stating they're doing pre recruitment checks (no waiting list) August 28th

Disclosure Scotland form back from DWP with compliments slip Sept 4th

So I thought I was going to be one of the lucky ones as things seemed to be moving so smoothly in those initial stages but I've heard nothing since!

I'm not too concerned just yet as from what I can tell most people seem to be waiting at least 2 months since their success letter til their call, if not longer, is that right? I see the majority of people who have recieved the call on here in the past week or so are people who recieved their success letter in mid July, so I reckon it could be a wait until November til I get mine.

I did try phoning Newcastle the other day and had an answer from the number on the top of my letter, the bloke said he would give me a number for the recruitment checks department for my IRC but I've tried ringing that number several times since and there's never any answer grrrr!

Anyway that is my experience so far, someone reassure me please! I've not been able to get a job since graduating and I'm really hoping this all goes through ok.

I waited 4 months from success letter to the call. Some got the call much quicker, i think i was one of the ppl waiting the longest. It is very frustrating isnt it, but take it from someone who had pretty much given up all hope.....the call does come eventually x

I got 6 weeks but most people are given a lot less. Some people less than a week.
