DWP employment waiting list

Received letter today from JCP in Leeds (which looks like a mass-produced letter, no name or address on the letter, just a faintly printed letter and a handwritten envelope !!), stating I should by now have had notificiation that I was successful in my application (???) and asking me to be patient with the process and once they are in possession of all required details they will be in touch to discuss further.

Anyone else received one?

congratulations to all those who are starting. Does this mean recruitment freeze is lifted everywhere or or just in certain areas? I am waiting in Hampshire.

Hello all, i have been snooping on this topic for a while but never posted.

Did anyone else apply for the E/O Job : IRC62876 (North West (Lancs))

I thought i had waffled to much in the interview however i recieved a success later (although a waiting list one) yesterday

I have to be honest i wasnt aware of the "freeze" so i am now a bit worried.

A couple of questions?
1. Has anyone else been sucsessful for this role? If So were you waiting list or offerred a job?
2. How much Notice do they give you of a start date, as i have to give 4 weeks notice to the job i am currently in. I dont want to hand in my notice and then have a gap in employment (income)
3. Will they contact my current references (one being my employer) before i get a job offer. I havent told my current bosses and would prefer to tell them myself rather than create a issue. (I am on a temp contract but with no fixed term as it is grant funded)
