IRC60418 - EO - Coventry
11/07/09 Interview.
16/07/09 Successful letter with waiting list comment.
20/08/09 Received CRB disclosure.
Nothing since, I have tried contacting 0191 2166549 but it either rings out or it is engaged, is anyone experiencing similar problems or does anyone have any alternative contact numbers.
I look forward to any response as it is becoming quite frustrating
Hi irbweb
I'm for this IRC too. Try emailing PHILIP.CARTWRIGHT@DWP.GSI.GOV.UK who is dealing with this IRC for an update or phoning him on 0191 216 8115. Whenever I emailed him, he always responded either the same day or the next day at the latest.
Good luck0 -
Anyone had a call or information for irc 60370 or 60369
Can anyone give me a contact phone no. or e-mail address for the south east

Thank you for the information I have emailed him, and will try to contact him by phone, the phone number on the letterhead from the DWP is 0191 2188115, could be the reason it is not in use.
I will keep you informed.

Administrative officer - you?0 -
Most of you will remember that when Venus started there was a non-attendee on the first day of training.
I have now come across a very good reason for not turning up.
As a lot of you will know my wife and I were interviewed several times at the start of July for various IRCs and were successful.
We are due to start next week (the magic 19 October date). However, for the past 6 weeks my wife has been working as a temp at Wakefield Council and she told them last week that this Friday would be her last day. They said they would be sad to see her go etc but could understand why she wanted a permanent role.
However. today she was told that there have been some internal (dodgy) dealings and they can offer her the job on a full time basis.
She has been offered £18k more than the DWP are paying and it's not an 18 month contract. As you can imagine she will not be turning up for training with the DWP next week.
In theory there should be an opening now for IRC 60540 (West Yorks) but who knows given the freeze.0
