Did you ever find out where you were on the merit list? I think I was 45 or 46, I can't remember. There were loads of Job Centres listed so hopefully I might now get into my local one fairly quickly.

No I didn't, when I phoned they said they didn't know? As there were a lot of job centres down in the south east, hopefully the process will be quick and all those not on a waiting list will get the 'call' soon. Fingers crossed!

Yes he said all have been cleared and sorry he said 26names in the first batch. What area of the southeast are you, which IRC and what no are u calling. My letter was dates Sept 02, 2009

Applied for the surrey and southeast one, success letter no waiting list mentioned dated 02/09/09. Hopefully things will start happening very soon.

Well as i said yesterday someone phoned me on behalf of Louise Perry and she said she had contacted the business for a timescale on how much longer i will have to wait as i have been high up the merit list for such a long time with no movement (interview was in May lol). She said it would probably be Monday before i heard back. Anyway as my luck has it, i thought id nip out for shopping etc today as there would be no chance she'd phone today right? WRONG! Had an answer message when i got in saying the business had contacted her and she would like me to call her back asap. She mentioned she finished at 4 so it would be better if i could call before then, else i wouldnt get her til Tuesday. Bad thing is i didnt even get her message til half 4 when i got in. GRRR. So now i have to wait til Tuesday to see what shes found out lol

Ive been told several time now that im 4th on the merit list but still not heard anything and my interview/tests were back in April 09. All references/crb checks etc are complete. JOB REF IRC58723 Tees Valley (North East)
