Hi. Thanks for your reply re. your Marks & Spencer job. So I presume it was one of those online tests where they give you around 5 questions and you have to say what is most like you and least like you etc.? I completed such a test for Boots yesterrday, in which I had to answer over 70 of these questions! Awaiting the result now. Getting very depressed through the sheer difficulty of trying to find work on Mersyside.
Will take your advice and keep checking the Marks website for future vacancies.Janabiyah-Jane wrote: »Thanks, it was very easy really, I had to fill in an online application which had lots of customer service questions (multiple choice) if you answered all correctly when you submitted it you were immediately given an interview date.
It was only me and it was only a role play. One of the easiest jobs I have found to get into....
Have you checked if there are any in your area going, if not yet there will be, the hr lady told me she will have about another 70 vacancies coming up for Christmas so I am sure that will be the same in all stores...
Good luck and keep trying...Jx0 -

How much do you want to bet nothing will be done?????
sounds like a standard response letter to me
I got this exact same email response today, so definitely standard reply. Question is, will they personally investigate each email/complaint? Hope so.0 -

to be honest i have given up hope of getting a job from DWP and am desperately searching for any job, if i do ever get 'the call' then it will be a bonus, i have wasted too much time and energy already like most of us here have had enough0

I feel the same, you ease your foot off the jobsearch pedal a bit when you think you have a job and I'm annoyed at myself for that. I can't help but wonder if DWP know that and do what they do deliberately so they will have a bigger pool of people available (who haven't gone off and got another job in between waiting). Maybe I am feeling paranoid or too cynical at the moment but I reckon all this keeping people waiting is done deliberately to suit them and their needs (at least in part).0

No I did the boots one too, nothing alike...
You are given a scenario and then 3 options of what you would do in that scenario, there were about 30 I think...
I found it was just best to be honest and not tick the answer you thought they might like (which were usually over the top...like dob your mate in who was offering you stolen biscuits) I didn't tick that one..;)0 -
