DWP employment waiting list

I just called again and I honestly don't believe a word of anything they're telling me right now. The woman told me that my application HAS been passed to Business Services and that my friend who was asked for a reference this morning doesn't actually need to bother doing it. She claimed to have no knowledge of any Merit list.

I now believe that I was accepted for a job that didn't, and probably never will, exist. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone else who applied for 61569.

just thought you might like to know my partner passed all the tests and crb and has been waiting since april and has been told that they hold all your details for 12 months and then if no positions become available then you have to re-apply what a joke.

well i am back from jobs fair. more like a garage sale really lol. job centre were there so i went over clutching my success letter ready to give them hell. unfortunatly guy on desk had the most gorgeous eyes and i sort of fell under his spell.( i am old enough to be his grandmother lol ) anyway he said he had not heard of this freeze and i should eventually hear. he did say he waited 6 months last year.
anyway it seems a bit more hopefull on here today. last time i asked i was 16 on merit list .
applied for some xmas jobs this morning which might keep me going till dwp sort themselves out. just got to keep smiling.
glad i have you lot though. its a really good feeling to know there are others going through same thing. thanks to you all.

I also applied for 61569. I received my CRB last week and when I phoned up yesterday she said my application had been sent to business services. She didn't say anything about my position on a merit list only that i've got to wait for a call telling me i've got a job. She didn't say how long this will be.

Update - the DWP are having problems differentiating between elbows and err, bums.

My referee has been contacted this morning, via email, for the other 3 IRCs I passed. He just rang to ask me if he should reply. I told him to forward the original email to each request.

So, is there a freeze in West Yorkshire or not???

Identical position here except that I know where I was on the merit list a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if that's changed now. Like I say, I don't think there are or there will be jobs for us.

Do you know if anyone at all has been posted from 61569?

No, they're not giving me any information. The only indication that I have is that I asked for my position when I got the initial success letter, then again after the DS check, and the position hadn't changed. Read into that what you will.

Shock horror --- they answered the phone:T:T

Not much use though - she just said that still awaiting checks - again told her that these had been carried out previously for another IRC No - she said she had no note of this :mad::mad: AAAAHHHH. Told them enough damned times:mad:

She had no info on possible recruitment freeze - just said I had to wait for the checks and then await hearing from them.
