DWP employment waiting list

oh it just gets better and better. thought i would ring newcastle again to see if they would tell me anything new. lady who answered told me i had come through to wrong num and she would try to transfer me but would give me number just in case transfer failed. she gave me number and then said at end not to ring for 10 mins cos he had just left his desk.
. IF SHE COULD SHE SEE HIM WHY SHE DID HAVE TO TRANSFER ME. MIND BOGGLING.

I am confused!!!
As i applied for an AO position but got the EO job (Don't ask) i dont have a job reference number, have asked the job centre today what i should do now i have received the disclosure and was told wait for the phone call for a start date. Anyone else in the same boat? Would also like to go on a taster day, whatever that is:D I have phone in hand but very nearly dropped it the vileda supermop bucket, jumpy and nervous now.:eek:

Has anyone ever had a successful letter on an application but put on a waiting list??? I got one for one for an EO but surely your either successful or not :question:

I've got my taster session today - I will let you know what it's like

phoned the gentleman whose number i was given. he got really irrate and wanted to know where i had got his number from as he had nothing to do with my irc number. well i managed to calm him down enough for him to tell me i should hear within 2 weeks. he did apologise for getting uppity with me. back to waiting.

Good luck, is it for AO or EO? Do you go in for just the day or for a week?
Sorry for the questions but after being unemployed for 10 months am nervous and jittery, will be glad when put out of my misery lol.
