Just working with JSA, work till 5:15, some staff are doing Saturday overtime, doors shut during the week at 5:00. I've not heard of any JC's in Coventry area opening till 8:00 but it's included in our contracts.

The work you do in the JC depends on where they need the staff, most of the guys I started with are doing PA work with JSA, but some are doing Lone Parent interviews and others ESA.

Hi All

Wondering if anyone can help. My hubby had an interview in early August. At the beginning of September he had heard nothing but recieved a completed CRB and on Saturday he had the successful but on 6 month waiting list letter!

Has anyone else had their CRB back before even hearing if they were successful at interview?

i had my interview on 01/07 and got my success letter on 10\07. had to chase my crb up myself and only got it back last wek.

I think that is absoulutely shocking. Did you phone them to see what has happened to your so called job?

Hi Maisette, Did you fill out your crb at the interview or did they send it to you to fill out and post back? I filled it out at the interview do you know if I will receive a copy as well.

if i phone newcastle they just say its out of their hands and its up to local bussiness centre now but have no idea what their number is to contact them. it is very annoying and depressing.

hi leepy, i filled it out at interview. every time i phoned newcastle to see what was happening they said they were waiting for my crb. i asked them to chase it up but they said they were not allowed. i contacted scotland myself by email and they got back to me within 2 hours to say it had been sent out to dwp on 31/08. i receiveed my copy about a week later.

I take it the local business centre is the office you will be working in. Do you know which one it is?

no because i put 3 down that i could work at so until they phone me i dont know.
