DWP employment waiting list

No the numeracy and literacy tests have nothing to do with your over all mark. Its all down to your interview.
I found out about 8 days after my interview...some people have had to wait longer...up to 4 weeks tend to be usual but they are trying to speed things up now, so if you haven't heard in 2 weeks, give them a ring and ask."You dont need a weather man to know which way the wind blows"0 -
i had my letter 10 after interview.0

well malc, i had my success letter 10/07/2009 and am still waiting. venus can i be your sexy assistant lol
Are you on a waiting lit or not and was it the EO position you have applied for? I applied for EO in August got success letter, no waiting list mentioned on 27 August and waiting for checks etc0 -
Thank you, a tense week or two waiting by the phone then by the sounds of things, just hope I didn't ramble too much, oh well not a lot I can do about it now!!! It would have been soooo much more helpful if an actual DWP employee was at the recruitment process as well......0

At my interview one of the people was a dwp employee. I thought it would be the same for all.
Anyway, good luck...i thought i rambled also and i did well so sure you will be fine"You dont need a weather man to know which way the wind blows"0 -

Jim...are you going to be an AO or an EO? I ticked to work in the Liverpool city centre JC but else where in liverpool would take too long to get to.
I hope the training is in Birkenhead...that is just one bus ride...Toxteth would take a while to get to!!! Unless i would get a bus to Liverpool and then one to Toxteth.
Stephl- do you mind me asking what is the training like? Are you enjoying it?
Fingers crossed i hear soon anyway! I will let you all know don't you worry...i will be shouting it from the roof tops when i get the date!!0 -
Progress: got my CRB back in the mail today, in a DWP envelope. A week earlier than I expected, too.0

I passed assessments yesterday for EO in Plymouth and completed the interview today, which was conducted by Manpower. I'm not sure if nerves might have got the better of me as I've noticed that a lot of people on here have said that they were sent a letter which detailed the competancies that you needed to demonstrate??? I haven't had any written communication since I emailed the application.... just a phonecall inviting me to assessment. Also, please does anybody know if they combine the scores of assessments and interviews to get an overall mark, hopefully this will help if they do because I got 12/15 for the literacy testing and 20/20 for the maths?? Thanks so much, and I hope you all get your new jobs soon, this seems a great forum for future dwp employees (optimistically hopeful, haha).
1 week - 3 months....within that time frame...
if you want a more accurate way...call them up or..
view this thread and see when people did their interview and received letter....
if you cant be bothered to do that..maybe the job isnt for you...0 -
Hi!
Hoping someone can help. I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the actual vacancy advert for IRC55738. I know it was quite a while ago but really hoping someone is going to have it.
Thanks!0
