  • ***UPDATE***

just spoken to Andrew AGN, and we have an update yay, he has told me that An update on available (cleared ) ppl is being sent to Business Services today with a view of contacting candidates next week, really hope this is true as it means we are finally getting somewhere, fingers crossed :j:j:j:j:j:j
  • Hi all, been reading this thread for last couple of days and thought I'd add my experience.
I attended assessment day at Holiday Inn Liverpool on 31st July for IRC 61139, received successful letter 12th August, received disclosure certificate last week. I phoned Employee Services in Newcastle on Tuesday to try and find out what was happening only to be told the person dealing with that IRC number was on leave. I tried finding out where I was on the merit list and was told there was no list as such, and that people would be contacted from whichever JC needed staff. I was also told that everyone with a successful letter would be offered a post as they need 180 people.

However, when I attended my local JC+ to sign for JSA this morning, triumphantly clutching my successful letter and disclosure, my personal advisor seemed unimpressed! She just carried on looking for jobs for me. Does she know something we don't?
    Now feel deflated.
  • Fiiiiiinally! A start date!! Got it Yesterday morning, and I'm starting....Monday, great, cant do my weeks notice where I'm working so it means i don't get my holiday time paid back to me, and I've probably lost them as future references. Oh well, they treated me bad anyway.
Looking forward to starting work, generally disappointed with the customer service from shared services, but, atleast it only took 2 months from interview (done test previously) to start date, alot less than I know some people have experienced.
