  • They probably sit in their office each lunchtime reading this forum and then deliberately delay things for eveybody who posts up how frustrated they are.

Or, they are just totally disorganised. You choose.

    I still blame the postman....

    Not happy.

Should have just left things as they were and not let impatience get the better of me!

Basically got a call back with an update on 60859 Cardiff EO. Although my checks are back it looks as if nothing is going to move till at least the end of Sept as they still havent placed the group above me - I assume this to mean they are still training - and until they are in role they cant move forward with the next group. So I'm left waiting longer than hoped.

Oh well. Maybe a miracle will happen who knows

Come on Cardiff get your !!!!! in gear!

At least I know not to bother waiting for a call.
  • I went on the school run just now - was out for a total of 8 minutes - missed call. The only time I have been out of the door today -
  • Do they call your mobile or your house phone? Anyone know which they prefer? Ta'

awwww babes was it def a with held number aswell, see thats my worry as im always out and about rescuing animals etc, did u give them a mobile number??
  • yes - number witheld - they don't have my mobile number because when I went for interview I had just changed it and couldn't remember my new one. I rang DWP Newcastle to give them the new number yesterday and was told my details weren't with them any more but they wouldn't tell me who I could call to update my contact details.

    :(

Well, apart from the problem of them not having your new number...doesn't them not dealing with your details mean that your checks have been done and your info has been sent off to your 'business area' and so meaning you are closer to getting placed? That's good!

Anyway, do these dwp people never leave answer phone messages or something?! That would be simpler!
