Hi Guys, just to update those of you still waiting.

I got "the call" today for the AO Liverpool. Given I'm also on the merit list for EO I was advised not to take the AO and to wait for the EO.

So I have withdrawn, so those of you still waiting on the list should be getting your call soon and there is one more position available.

News for the EO positions IRC 61099, I was told today that I am abour 45th on the list with about 10 other people all who have the same score from interviews.

They haven't started allocating off this list yet as they already had others from the previous merit list to place first. So looks like it could be a few more weeks. Hang in there guys, were getting closer

Ohhhh i hope i get the place you turned down then for IRC 61139!!!

I also hope i get a position in a JC near where i live...i accidentally (desperately) ticked a few slightly out of my way, thinking it would increase my chances of getting offered a job. Whoops, things we do in desperation!!! Better start getting used to some nice (long) bus journeys just incase

Hi everyone
Does anyone have any further information on the Birmingham Interviews IRC60076. I had my successful letter, albeit 12 month waiting list, on the 24th July and have heard nothing since. Any help would be much appreciated, excitement has turned to dismay rather quickly.

My day... Started calling Newcastle at 10am, 80+ phone calls later (yes was counting) got through to somebody 2.30pm ..yey. Told need to call Andrew on a different number he's not at his desk try in half hour o.k.... 4.55 another 80+ calls later from different numbers to every number i could find, finally spoke to someone can't find any info on IRC60535 everyone's gone home but you can try from 8am tommorow. o.k which is the best number the one i was told earlier.... no try any.... ARGHH:mad:

Thanks for this. Sorry if this is a daft question. When you say they had a previous merit list...was that from recruitment a while back...or did they split into different merit lists like a list A and B or something?

Does that mean people who maybe had been interviewed in like..March (to hazard a guess!) are on another list and they go through that list first?

Sorry if stupid questions...just finding this whole processing very confusing. Thanks.
