Hi Sportfan, I had a weird result back by post which just said "Numeracy Score 11" and no mention of the literacy. When I asked at the office in Newcastle they told me I had attained 100% on both papers and they couldn't explain the results letter. In fairness the results letter said I would be able to apply to the highest position available using that tier of testing ie: Executive Officer.

There is an online test for the HEO positions.
I applied for a position and was sent a link to the test last night. I haven't tried it yet so can't give any details on what it involves but I think it is a psychometric testing.

    Anyone done this test?

i had exactly the same score when i applied for an ao position and then had to resit the literacy part of the test for an eo position and fortunately it was a different test sheet - more spelling than grammer which suited me and i scored 12.

Oh right thats good congrats - thanks for reply

I just rang them up and I have to resit the literacy and take proof of my letter with me to show ive passed numeracy!

So the EO test is different to the AO literacy tests? Whats different? What kind of errors should I be looking out for?

    Wish me luck

No, but I also applied (and have the email receipt to prove it) and haven't had the link yet. I'm quite sure they said the link would be sent Tues or Weds and that the closing date for the test was 14 April. Given the bank hols I'm a bit worried I haven't had the test link yet.

    Hey samr

Yeah I did the test last night - 1hr long! I found it alright - bit difficult - 36 questions and you have 6 case studys - got to read the passage with figures in and text n they ask you questions on it - lot of maths involved so you need paper and calculator - Its multiple choice too

    Good luck

Yeah, the dates for mine were the same. I received the email containing the link at 7:30pm last night. Check your junk mail folder. I received 2 emails and one was in my junk mail.
