I did receive a letter saying I was unsuccessful, then a few days later recieved another letter saying to disregard the first letter and I had been unsuccessful. I didn't think to query it at the time as thought they were dealing with a lot of people so it was probably just an admin error.
I'm not sure now whether to take the letter to the job centre when i'm next due there, or to scan and send as requested and query why they are asking for a copy now.0 -
Does anyone know if it's possible once your successful and on the waiting list, to transfer your list place to a different area. I'm currently on the list for Newcastle but want to work in Yorkshire now.0

Hey, sorry took a while to reply. Do you meant the tests or the interview score?
My numeracy and literacy tests were marked immediately afterwards and those who passed went on to the interview. Some places do the tests and interview on different days.
During the interview the two people interviewing you write down your answers as you say them, i believe then afterwards they read through what they have written and calculate your interview score then. I don't think you get given your score unless you ring up and ask, as i did not get given mine with my success letter.
I have also been told your score dictates how fast you will get given a position, as those with a higher pass score are picked first. Lower scores may have to wait for a while and the lowest test scores get a waiting list letter, which means you will go on a 6 month waiting list and even then you're not guaranteed a job."You dont need a weather man to know which way the wind blows"0 -
Congratulations!
Did you have to do a telephone exercise for your interview at holbourn house or something? got a successful letter, rang up and they said they were still dping the referencing!!
Thanks for your help.
Yeah I did that back in April but none of the personal references I put on my original application have been contacted
Still, looking forward to Monday!
Hopefully you will be contacted soon!In debt no more!0 -
Just had this email
Would you please send me a copy of the certificate - scanning it if possible - if you are still interested in this position. I can then clear your checks and return your papers to the Recruitment Officer. (Please write IRC number at the top of certificate)
Does it mean write the IRC number on top of the certificate then scan and email it to them or post a copy0 -
I don't understand what is going on with this 60227. I went for an interview on 25 June in Paddington for this vacancy. I have had a success letter but nothing else since. Have they re advertised the vacancy or perhaps invited more people to interview if they didn't get enough people? I applied in May. Does anybody know anything?
I did attend the interview for the IRC60227 at the manpower office near Liverpool St station on 30 June, 2009.
My success letter was dated 01 July, 09
My Disclosure Certificate was dated 31 jul, 2009
Received a reply to my email stating that checks were all clear on 04 Aug, 2009
Got THE CALL on 11 Aug 09
Start Date: 01 SEPT 09.
At somepoint between success letter and receiving crb, i received a letter asking about my interests in pensions and stuff.0 -
IRC 60369 - Gotten my DS back from the DWP last week... I rang newcastle and they said all my checks are clear and it is up to the local people to organise an intake batch and start date. Waiting around now. I hope I get a call soon
I have still not heard a thing regarding 60370 - more than a month since my interview now.
Anyone else heard anything after the worthing interviews?0
