I think I'd scan and email it and ask for clarification at the same time.

I emailed them back and said I can scan the certificate, but did receive 2 letters stating I was unsuccessful for the position.

I have received a reply today saying they were working from a list of outstanding checks from earlier this year and there has obviously been a mistake.

It does make me wonder how they are keeping track of everything though if things like this can happen  Oh well, back to the job hunt.

I did attend the interview for the IRC60227 at the manpower office near Liverpool St station on 30 June, 2009.

My success letter was dated 01 July, 09
My Disclosure Certificate was dated 31 jul, 2009
Received a reply to my email stating that checks were all clear on 04 Aug, 2009
Got THE CALL on 11 Aug 09
    Start Date: 01 SEPT 09.

At somepoint between success letter and receiving crb, i received a letter asking about my interests in pensions and stuff.

Congratulations! Thanks for this. I have heard today that one of my personal referees has been contacted so maybe things are starting to move for me.

Where are you going to be working? Did they give you a choice of offices and are you permanent?

That is really bad:confused: did they mean that the mistake was that they sent you unsuccessful letters, or that they submitted the CRB check by mistake,

    Beggare belief really

I assume they meant the CRB check, although I thought the check was standard after having an interview with them anyway. Hmm, think i'll email her back just to clarify again!

I am sure that they don't send for the checks unless you are offered employment, otherwise they would have already sent off 4 times for mine !!

    Just had this email
Would you please send me a copy of the certificate - scanning it if possible - if you are still interested in this position. I can then clear your checks and return your papers to the Recruitment Officer. (Please write IRC number at the top of certificate)
Does it mean write the IRC number on top of the certificate then scan and email it to them or post a copy:confused:

You need to write the IRC No on the top of the certificate and then scan it and email it to them.

This morning i got my disclosure scotland?? Got success letter 6 month waiting list, last week.

Just wondering if i should be getting excited or not!!??
  • Trixxi.
If the DS cert was sent from DWP then if I'm anything to go by you'll be getting the call to start within 2 weeks. I start 1 month after I received the call, approximately.
    Good luck and well done.
