    Hey,

I went for an interview on 30th July.
Cant wait to hear, but sounds like a may have a long wait!!

Star..... that really is frustrating. Hopefully you'll not need to wait that long!

    hi

i know they also told me hopefully for start in september if succssful but they did also say wouldnt hear for 3 weeks. however looking at other peoples comments it seems its takingmuch longer than 3 weeks to hear back after interview plus then they have to do crb check etc so dont think they really have a set time. keep me posted when you hear then and ill also let you know.

    good luck

    Hi,

Can someone explain the advantages & disadvantages between working at the Jobcentre dealing with people or working at the BDC?

I have just received the call and similar to another person a few posts ago, have been offered the job at the BDC. I just want to know what the difference is. Which would have a more job security?

In keeping with previous posts my timeline is as follows:

    Online test: early June
    Interview: 26 June
Success letter: 25 July (dated 24th), and put on a waiting list, which i later found to be in position 58!
    The call: 11th August
    Start: 1st Sept

Pretty quick compared to some. Even though its upto 18 months, i wondered about the chances of it being increased or becoming permanent, better chance of that at jobcentre or BDC?
