Hello everyone
I sat the exams and did the interview which I thought had gone okay on 23rd July in Liverpool. I have since had my test scores and a certificate to say that I passed them both but haven't heard anything else. Has anyone here heard anything of post IRC 61099?
Thanks guys
Muchos Liebe
Hi - yes I have had my test results, my CRB from disclosure scotland and a letter to say I was successful at the assessment day and they were conducting pre-recruitment checks. I have my referees on standby to let me know as soon as they're contacted and I will update on here so you'll know. Congrats:T0 -

Hi there
I posted last week to say that my son had taken the online test, think its known as SIFT test (75 mins to complete - 36 Questions), he received an email at the end of last Week Thursday I think it was to tell him he had got through and passed and Congratulations on his Success from the DWP.
However, the role he applied for is AA postion and we are aware the interviews for this are on the 15th and 16th August for the successful candidates.
On the email he had to let him know he passed they said he would be on the waiting list, although the actual job interviews are for the above dates.
Does this mean that even though he passed and got through that stage this does not guarantee him an interview for the position he applied for which is in our area?
He worked there before as a temp, but not where he taken the tests then.
Thanks in advance.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

If you mean he has been put on a waiting list rather than invited for interview it could mean that altough technically he passed the test, they had to raise the pass mark and only invite the top x candidates to interview due to sheer number of applicants. The same thing happened to me for an AA application I made. The waiting lists means that when there is a requirement by the business for more candidates they will contact those on the waiting list first I think.
Hope this helps.0 -

Hi there and thank you.;)
Yes I think this looks to be the case.
Although they do not actually give the pass mark result, I take it that even though he passed the minimum requirements - anyone else who did have higher than that would be first called to an interview then?
This is what I had thought anyway lol, thank you so much I think this clarifies what happens now.
So hopefully in time or by the 6 months he will hear something.
Fingers crossed. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
