    Hi thunderb0lt,

IRC 60819; 60807 & 60805 - all in the Buckinghamshire area. I did the tests on 30th June and 2nd July and received phonecalls for the other two interviews on 9th July for the, 13th and 14th July for the 15th.

I received standard emails saying my test scores would be 'copied over' to my other threee applications but I have a horrible feeling this hasn't happened as I haven't been contacted about them!

Congratulations to those who have now received their start date, I'm a little jealous, happy for you, but jealous!

Hope you get some good news soon thunderb0lt. Which roles did you apply for?

I started today! :D It was quite overwhelming! I'm just so happy to have a job and purpose in life again.

One guy came in drunk early this morning to sign on and kicked off, so they had to call the police to remove him from the building!

Everyone was really friendly and made me very welcome and there are some other new starters 3 weeks ahead of me, so that's really handy to find out what's what. The JCP didn't know I was starting until I phoned them on Friday! They don't have any details and I'm not on the system, so I can't complete any of the e-learning. I think I'll be shadowing other staff this week to get an overview of all the roles.

How's everyone else getting on? I think there were some other people on MSE starting today.

So started today as an EO and I have to say I was quite impressed. Started with three others. LOTS AND LOTS of paperwork. Givin a tour of the building and then left alone to read and read and read. Got through all the admin in a couple of hours, givin cards and everything.

Never knew that Jobcentres were so huge.

Hi gupster - I was meant to start with a lady, but she has swine flu so will start in a couple of weeks.

They don't have enough desks/space where I am, so we'll be hot-desking but it's just so great to be back at work.

There's so much behind the scenes work that you don't know about and there's about 400 staff in my building! I can't wait to get stuck in! lol

Hi all! I started today at JCP in Norwich, everyone was lovely and I am thoroughly enjoying the whole experience! I am training to be a lone parent advisor, there is a lot to learn but I can't wait. I went through the whole induction process today and got my smart card so am signed off to use the computer systems. I have a lot of e-learning courses to book myself on to, it's all quite daunting really but I am loving it. I hope everyone else had similar experiences to me! :)
