Some people just get a plain successful letter, some a successful waiting list but everyone is on the merit list regardless. You are then appointed in merit order.

I was never able to get any information out of Newcastle, I was effectively blanked every time I phoned them.

I think mommarat got her information regarding her position because she found out who the local contact was, (although I stand to be corrected)

I did initially get my info from Newcastle, must have caught someone on a good day, then I did some digging myself and found where the district office was rang it and explained the situation and managed to track down the vacancy holder

They have started the calls today a friend has had hers. I put Dudley, Wolves, Stourbridge, Bilston and Willenhall but I don't really want Willenhall a bit to far to travel. Friend was emailed.

Anyone got any information regarding irc58391?

All checks done apparantly! But I have heard that before only to find out CRB form incorrectly completed by Newcastle so had to be re sent!

God I wish they would call soon. I have a five hour round trip for an interview tomorrow for a job I will turn down if DWP pull their collective fingers out!
