Let's hope the rest of us are next.
sue without the blues! lol, gosh if only it wasnt for everything flippin else that is going on at the moment i could change my username to that! sure it wont be long tho! the funny thing is though i was thinking back to other job offers that i have had in the past and usually they ring you to offer you it and you do the checks, as we have done here, and you take it for granted you will start soon, but this process has always had a shadow of doubt over it for me for some reason - they should try to eliminate that shadow of doubt for people!! maybe it was all the confusion about waiting lists and stuff - i would have cried myself stupid if i ended up on a waiting list i think after all the build up0 -

11 days ago, I think! I'll give it two more weeks before I start getting antsy again.
Congrats again. At least there's some light at the end of this huge tunnel.0 -
i know, its all been a big pain in the a**e, am glad the recruitment process is over - its been maddening coming on here checking to see if anybody had further info that might cast light on it all every day!0

Tell me about it, it's become an obsession and it saves the pain I've been causing my girlfriends ears when she was getting home from work.0

Hopefully i'll find out soon!
Haven't been waiting as long as you guys!
I am currently working, but am being made redundant, so I need to get a release form my employees, so I don't lose my redundancy pay out. The DWP are making this difficult but not giving me any indication of start dates!
Congrats, Sue on your success.Bored0 -
Congratulations Sue!!!
Well done, Finally you have an offer and rest of us still waiting for crb checks, waiting lists and vacancies to come up!
Lets hope you do a better job now that you will be working for them! :P
Do keep in touch with the forums and let us know how you getting on in the job!
Just 1 thing, When you went for tests and you passed, they gave you your interview date and time and some forms to fill in and bring back to Interview (health declaration, character reference, security checks) etc.....ARE THESE FORMS WHAT EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT? OR DO YOU GET SENT MORE FORMS WHEN THEY NOTIFIY YOU HAVE PASSED INTERVIEW?
PLEASE CLEAR THIS UP? SAME FORMS OR DIFFERENT?
Best of luck!!0 -

They send you more (different ones) when you get the letter saying you were successful.0 -
Cheers Dr E!
I'm still on waiting list up to 12 months - waiting for vacancies to arise!0 -
I'm in that predicament, but I was sent the CRB forms and advised they were doing all the pre-recruitment checks aswell. So I don't know if that means I'm near the top of the list or what? Newcastle won't help me either.0
