I've just got a bit more information regarding the EO vacancies in Birmingham.

They won't start allocating positons for IRC58379 until September at the earliest, they are in the process of sorting out an earlier recruitment and won't be ready to start on this one until the previous one has been completed.

I know when I went for the tests at the NEC there were applicants there who had applied before Xmas, and one of the girls from JCP told them they were still working through those, but that was on 18th April!!!!!

    Anyone on here still waiting?

Hi all... ive been reading through these pages, and glad that its not just me goin through the waiting. Im one of the Bham EO but Irc57184, there is a problem in regards to my CRB which I have been trying to sort out for the past few weeks. All i want to do is speak to someone, and its been such a struggle. Someone finally called me today and I missed the call LOL. They are askin me to send my copy of the CRB, but if they took the chance to speak to me they would see im trying to solve the problem. I called Scotland and they told me they dsent the form back weeks ago with a problem, so how can i have a copy.

And now your saying the jobs wont start until SEPTEMBER, i applied in february..its really gettin me down now.. i was so happy thinking i could leave my workplace but im still here

    Thanks petal :rotfl:

Just to let others know, I rang Newcastle a couple of hours ago and they said they didn't have my CRB check back yet, however the guy told me without pause so kinda got the feeling he just wasn't in the mood to check, either that or he has a really, really good memory... :A

Aghhh I'm really annoyed. Been trying to call them for the past 2 days and nobody answers the phone. There's not an option to leave a message or anything. What's the point of having a phone number to call if nobody answers????? I've called my local centre for an address to send the CRB and she gave me a totally different one from the two I already have. Where the hell am I supposed to send this mofo to? Hahahahahahaha.....

I think you misunderstood me, (or I worded it wrongly.....)

They won't start working on IRC58379 until September, this is to let them finish the placements for the previous EO recruitment, I assume (I hate that word!) that is IRC57184, the one you're waiting for.
  • After getting a start date for my EO position on Merseyside yesterday, I just recieved a call about the AO job I interviewed for in early March...which I'd pretty much given up on, as I got a success/waiting list reply.

It's based practically across the road from where I live as well, whereas the EO position will be a good half hours travel. I said I would stick with the higher grade though, and thought to myself "where were you guys when I needed you ?"

Funny how it turns out, you spend a year on the dole....:rolleyes2
