I got a phone call today about my HEO post. No start date yet - she said they hoped for mid July - but she told me which office I would probably be working in. Feeling positive now. :T
Hi Samr
I'm so happy for you :j!! I'm still waiting for my result, I was told the result would be sent out today. So I hope to see my result in my office mailbox when I reach there tomorrow.
So where would you be based?0 -

Will i be notified about a start date in good time do you know? i have childcare to sort out before i can start, which won't be doable in a day or over a weekend!
Sorry I have no idea about how much notice about start dates you will be given. But remember some people already have a job and will have to give 4 weeks notice.0 -

I received DS from the first one, which I sent to Newcastle, with a note explaining that I had been successful in 2 other exercises. Surely they only carry out one lot of checks, and not duplicate?:eek:Thanks!
Sorry the answer is no I do not know. I do not work for them or any organisation involved with them.0 -

I'll be in Stoke-on-Trent - the office is about 5 miles from where I live. My previous job was a 40 mile commute each way so it's nice to have a job close to home.
Fingers crossed for you0 -

Hey,
Like a lot of people here I have been following this thread for a while. I applied for an EO position under this reference number IRC58420 Executive Officer/Band C. I first received my successful letter on the 08/05/2009. The letter I got was not a waiting list letter.
I received word from my referees that they had been contacted. About two weeks ago I got my CRB check back from Discloser Scotland.
I had noticed from earlier posts that the way the whole process is done happens to be different from what happened for me in London. After the test (if you had passed) you were given a bunch of forms to fill in and bring to the interview. At the interview they collected all the forms which included a Criminal Record, Health Check and Location Preference form. Nothing was sent to our homes which then needed to be sent off elsewhere.
Does anyone have any idea when I am likely to hear anything back from DWP any time soon. Also what other checks need to be completed? One other thing I would like to know is, should I give them a call to see what is going on with my application?
Also did anyone else apply for the IRC58420 EO position and are there any other members on here looking to work in London?
Thank you.0 -
Has anyone else had to have a telephone medical? (not surprised i have been asked for one), Anyone know what i should expect to be asked? I hope this is a good sign and means my checks are nearly done lol0

Hi
I have been reading this thread with great Interest.
I had an interview on March 6th and success letter received on 31st March for AO position at Southend On Sea Jobcentre.
Posted CRB form back on same day as received letter.
received CRB certificate 3 weeks ago.
I telephoned Newcastle last week and was told my checks had been completed and my details had been passed over to the business support team and to expect a phone call soon.
I also asked my position on merit list and was told I was number 1. The lady I spoke to was called Kay and her name was on my success letter.
After reading the posts here, I don't know what to believe anymore!
Has anyone else applied for IRC 56347 or any Essex vacancies?
Hi
I have just received a phone call from Southend Jobcentre.:j I start work on monday the 22nd June. :T I received success letter end of March.
Hang in there guys, hope you all start work soon.
Good luck to all of you!0
