    Congrats!

I am not unemployed thankfully, but am being made redundanyt in the summer, so I'm just looking forward to taking my VR now and starting a new job! I can use all my redundancy to buy a new kitchen and some lovely new guitars!

I would save the money in case youre made redundant again!

I had my selection tests on 3rd feb, interveiw on the 13 feb and letter to say i was succesful on the 20th feb, but since then nothing do you think this is normal?

have you had a crb form sent to you to complete (i did) or if you completed it on the day like i think some people did maybe they just contact you again when referees have been confirmed?

Received my success letter on Monday and need to complete and return the forms they requested. Doesn't sound like a lot of people are getting knocked back.

its all been very itsy-bitsy hasnt it!!! i cant wait to start though although it will be a very long commute for me but after 6 months on the dole i was ready to travel internationally if need be!

am so pleased have had a lot of nights out where people have asked me the dreaded 'so what do you do' question!!!!

Congrats on getting the job. Can i ask what role you'll be doing and whether they look for a background in admin/customer service?

i applied for EO, i did have some admin in my background but i felt they were interested in all kinds of backgrounds, not like applying for some jobs where thye want you to have purely identical previous roles to theirs

I received a letter on Monday... I hope I am in a job by June as I most likely won't have the job I'm doing now by then.

Am kinda worried though, as so far their admin and communication has been so bad.

I brought some things to interview (P45 ect), but don't remember filling out a CRB form. They told me in my area of London they are recruiting around 100 people!

I do hope to get it soon.... I am fed up of working in sales with really hard targets for £6.50 per hour!

I filled all the forms out at the interveiw stage, so may be just waiting for crb checks, just seems like a long time when you are waiting to start!
  • its been a bit patchy admin wise for me too - they sent out 2 copies of my test results to me, then 2 loads of crb forms each to be returned to different people then i had to ring up to find out who i should send it back to and it took forever to get hold of someone to speak to. then i had a number to ring a different person about another form and that line was permanently engaged (even at 8pm!) or off the hook!

i have just checked the payscales and wondered if anybody knew whether the start pay was negotiable or do they just start you at the bottom of the scale?
