It's the same IRC58361. I couldn't attend the first lot of interviews in April because I was away on holiday. On return, out of the blue, I was asked to interview on 15th May. I wasn't the ony one there and apparently there were A/O interviews as well. I was told they were interviewing on the Saturday and Sunday as well.0 -

If you don't mind me asking, if you're already working for DWP, why are you going after a temporary position in the current climate? I won't be offended if you tell me to mind my own business..0 -
I went to Wolves Novotel and passed my test for EO on 01/04 I have passed the check but I am still waiting for my start date and where I am going. All are Black Country areas. If it is any consolation to anyone else on this site I already work for another dept in the DWP and I am having to wait as long as everyone else to hear where I will be working and so is a colleague of mine. I have been emailing Newcastle internally and still get no reply it has been 6 weeks now since I learn that I was successful.
Yes, it's my second week as an eo and I have to say this guys, for each exercise, claim, decision or procedure, many separate departments coordinate; now this takes time, as we all have and some still experience. But this doesnt mean that that things are not being done. Please hang on there. All the best and Congratulations to all who received their starting dates.0 -

I received a phone call about 15 minutes ago offering me a position.
Anyone else got offers for the Central London AO positions? I had to decide then and there which location I wanted to work at. Didn't really have much time to think. I asked her if I could change it later on and she said I needed to decide at that very moment. Eeeek.
Said she would email me the details etc. Haven't recieved anything yet lol.0 -

Interesting - sounds like its a bigger operation than I originally thought. Explains why it's taken us April guys a while to be checked, perhaps they are waiting to join all the interview scores into one batch? We'll see...
We got our success letters around 7th May, so I imagine you'll hear by early next week if they are working to the same timescale. Good luck!0 -

Been following this thread for some time now & got to say that I'm grateful that I'm not the only one waiting for a response after receiving the successful interview letter on May 1st.
I'm waiting for the AO position in Central London also & after phoning the number on the letter many times with no joy I finally spoke to someone today who said that because of an office move everything is taking a bit longer than usual & that I should hear something in the next week or so.....not gonna hold my breath.
Aoki, which locations were you offered?0 -
grrr! I called Disclosure Scotland and the DWP hasn't sent off my form yet by all accounts. They already have a basic disclosure for me (I had to fill one out for another job back in March) but thats it. Im feeling soooo frustrated! x0

Hi,
I think you should hear something very soon. I got a copy of my CRB back yesterday and got a phone call today. As far as I know my personal references haven't been contacted. The woman just said all the checks are done and offered me a start date of 15th June.
The locations she offered were Kentish Town, Finsbury Park, Barnsbury and the most central-Denmark street off Tottenham Court Road ( this one wasn't customer facing though). I felt kind of rushed to make a decision. I don't know if I should have picked the none customer facing now. She said that would entail working with employers only.
They actually don't have positions available in Marylebone which is where I had my interview.
I've been waiting over an hour for the email to arrive. Confirming the details etc. Lol. To be honest the lady really did sound a bit confused. So I'm a bit worried....0 -

There was a story somewhere, I forget where, that the DWP had 6500 vacancies they were trying to fill up and down the country.0
